That didn't stop a few curious journalists from listenning in. And that's why it wasn't reported at first, they felt that this info wasn't obtained fairly.

Actually no, according to the article, the english one, the mics were left on for 3 minutes, the press heard all of this then was asked to, and agreed to, not report it because of the sensitivity of the comments.

Think about that. The president of the united states airing his honest opinion about the Israeli leader. An opinion that flies in the face of all outward appearances. and the press agreed to, when asked, to make this story disappear?

thankfully some journalist, somewhere, still has some scruples.

I know the Americans love to crap all over France, but lets not pretend they aren't a major power, they are. Sarkozy is correct, Netanyahou is a liar. And if this doesn't come to light, people will stupidly think the US and everyone else supports each and every crazy thing these guys do.

He's been dealing with massive protests against the rising cost of living.
The Iranian thing is just a diversion.
And the palestinian bid at the UN, maybe the last nail on their coffin after the negociations collapsed a year ago.
When palestinians kept repeating it was impossible to negociate with this administration, noone was listening...

Yea, he promised to stop the settlements and then turned around and bulldozed Palestinian houses. Sarkozy and Obama are lying buttheads themselves, but I agree with their assessment of B.B. I don't believe this was done by mistake. It was meant to be leaked. They are displaying some kind of credibility for whatever next move is taken. It was either intentionally done by the speakers or by the opposition side.

If he wanted Israel gone why does he continue to authorize military aid and weapon sales to Israel?
