It's OBVIOUS to me that democrats in Washington don't want people to have guns. Why not point the finger at the individual or group of people who do this?
They do a good job of pointing the finger at themselves.
With every publication of their party platform they include AWB reinstatement, the "loop-hole", more invasive checks and tracking. They re-word it each time and stick it in a different section each time but it's always there.
Here it is in their most recent version under Urban Policy:

They certainly arent alone. Plenty of RINO's support these measures. Gun control is a tyrants cause which makes it prime real estate for all bodies in government.
If the government were really concerned with violence they'd stop selling guns to gangsters and drug cartels.
