Oh look. Crimes happened in a group of individuals.

Jeez, that group must be so bad.

I have not read that book, thank you I will look into it. I have however done quite a bit of my own research on these topics using the internet. I have an excellent video documentary I recommend that speaks to the methods of control you mentioned and how the public has been manipulated into consumerism through the mass mainstream media.

It's about Edward Bernays, Sigmund Frued, Anna Frued and company. It's a very long documentary, about 4 hours. But it is well worth the time.

Here is brief description

To many in both business and government, the triumph of the self is the ultimate expression of democracy, where power is truly moved into the hands of the people. Certainly the people may feel they are in charge, but are they really? The Century of the Self by Adam Curtis tells the untold and controversial story of the growth of the mass-consumer society. How is the all-consuming self created, by whom, and in whose interest?

The Freud dynasty is at the heart of this compelling social history. Sigmund Freud, founder of psychoanalysis; Edward Bernays, who invented public relations; Anna Freud, Sigmund's devoted daughter; and present-day PR guru and Sigmund's great grandson, Matthew Freud. Sigmund Freud's work into the bubbling and murky world of the subconscious changed the world. By introducing a technique to probe the unconscious mind, Freud provided useful tools for understanding the secret desires of the masses. Unwittingly, his work served as the precursor to a world full of political spin doctors, marketing moguls, and society's belief that the pursuit of satisfaction and happiness is man's ultimate goal....Check out The Tavistock Institute:

Part 1-Happiness Machines:
Part one documents the story of the relationship between Sigmund Freud and his American nephew, Edward Bernays who invented 'Public Relations' in the 1920s, being the first person to take Freud's ideas to manipulate the masses. He showed American corporations how they could make people want things they didn't need by systematically linking mass-produced goods to their unconscious desires.

Part 2-The Engineering of Consent:
Part two explores how those in power in post-war America used Freud's ideas about the unconscious mind to try and control the masses. Politicians and planners came to believe Freud's underlying premise that deep within all human beings were dangerous and irrational desires. They were convinced that it was the unleashing of these instincts that had led to the barbarism of Nazi Germany, and in response to this, they set out to find ways to control the masses so as to manage the 'hidden enemy' within the human mind.

Part 3-There is a Policeman Inside All Our Heads, He Must Be Destroyed:
In the 1960s, a radical group of psychotherapists challenged the influence of Freudian ideas, which lead to the creation of a new political movement that sought to create 'new people', free of the psychological conformity that had been implanted in people's minds by business and politics. This episode shows how this idea rapidly developed in America through "self-help movements", into the irresistible rise of the expressive self: the Me Generation.

Part 4-Eight People Sipping Wine in Kettering:
This episode explains how politicians turned to the same techniques used by business in order to read and manipulate the inner desires of the masses. Both New Labor with Tony Blair and the Democrats led by Bill Clinton, used the focus group which had been invented by psychoanalysts in order to regain power. Both set out to mold their policies to manipulate people's innermost desires and feelings, just as capitalism had learned to do with products

This video below speaks about the Zionist role you mentioned. It is also a very long video but very interesting and informative. It's about 5 hours long well worth watching. If people can take 20 minutes or an hour a day and watch these documentaries we will all have a better understanding of the World we live in.

From the mystery religions of ancient Egypt to the Zionist role in 9/11, "Ring of Power -- Empire of the City -- 4,000 Years of Suppressed History" puzzles together the missing pieces of our human story. Find out how an Illuminati network of international bankers and European royalty have turned the world's nations and citizens into their debt slaves.

Propaganda at it's worst. This is like saying that all black people share in crimes that other black people commit. Ignore this topic and let it drop off the front page.

OP, looking forward to your other lists regarding the categories of crimes at protests.

Are you doing a study on the subject or something?

Or are you just trying to paint millions of people with one giant brush?

It looks like you put a lot of time and effort into creating that list, but next time before you create a thread like this you should think a little harder.

Where there are gatherings of hundreds of thousands of people there will be some type of crime. It's inevitable. I'm sure that within the Tea Party protests there were convicted felons protesting among the people, but does that make all of the people that support the Tea Party felons? No it does not.

Good luck with your demonizing, slandering, and generalizing goals of 2012.

This is why we must join up together, stand united as one, divided by none against these douchewads! We are all fighting for all of our survival.

Our rise is now, their fall is occurring now! This is fact!

The annoying thing is that these groups are shouting 'we are the 99%'
Well if that is true what are these 'individuals' that are committing crimes? Part of the 1%?
I rather seriously resent the 99% stuff - they do not represent me and I am certainly not one of the 1% rich ...
I also hate the 'This is what democracy looks like" - yup it is, mob rule.
I want no part of your democracy or your 99% so stop claiming me.

I don't thing the whole 99% thing literally means every single U.S citizen who is not part of the one percent. Then again "We are the 99%" makes for a much better slogan than "We are the 84.345432%"

I still have the same question: How many of the people posting on this thread have actually been to a occupy camp and talk to the people there? It would be interesting to see how many speak on experience and how many speak on deduction and making other people's beliefs as justifiably thei own.

could we make a poll on this thread and please answer truthfully

You have more in common with the 99% then you'd like to admit.

We are you, you are us, we all are the 99%!

You do realize that just because some protesters commit crimes, it doesn't mean the whole movement supports this, right? I can't believe how idiotic your train of though is here. This is the last place online I would think to see people against OWS. WOW. You blew my mind with your backwards logic. Go back to Fox News and CNN why don't you? Keep listening to your AM radio. Don't try and understand the motives behind these protests and young people that are thousands of dollars in debt after going to college, unable to find jobs.

OBVIOUSLY they are lazy hippies and criminals because YOU were able to achieve success in your day. Right? Things haven't changed at all right? Food isn't more expensive, college DEFINITELY IS NOT MORE EXPENSIVE RISING BY THE YEAR, college textbooks aren't expensive what-so-ever (am I right?), housing isn't more expensive than it used to be, gas isn't more expensive, BANKS DONT CHARGE YOU TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT DO THEY?

Anyway...you clearly do not understand anything about this movement and have no compassion for others.

Ok guy....
you're just taking a sample of the OWS group...and categorizing alleged crimes that were committed by individuals who consider themselves part of the group. You can also take any given "group" of people, and categorize crimes committed within that group in the same way. So the point of this thread was....????

Umm. why don't you stop trying to mislead.

A lot of those are crimes ON OWS. Also, why do you have such an active agenda against this movement? Why do you feel compelled to turn people against it? There are a lot of intelligent honest people at these movements that even you would agree with. We already have the news doing exactly what you are doing. Why do you want to do it for free. As a member of ATS your mind should be open and you should know that these stories don't mean anything. Crime happens at all places, with all groups. Get thousands together and there will be crime of some sort. The same could be done with the tea party, or just a list of crimes from a certain area of a city on a given day

also...i saw a comparison to the tea party in relation to "crimes committed". You do realize that OWS is about 100 times bigger than the "tea party" right? hence 100 times more "crimes committed"?

I am missing the one, where they know for sure that OWS is in posession of weapons for mass destruction.
Probably it is a little confusing for some this time. You could invade the country as usual, but then again you are already there...

I think the request for a list of the Tea Party Movement crimes was a jest, or at least I hope so. But let's discuss some of those claimed by the Left.

First and foremost; the Tea Party Movement itself. The Right has no right to set things right according to the Left. Only true people's democracy can do that.

Next is the rise of Hate Crimes due to the TPM according to the SPLC. However the FBI said hate crimes have decreased.

The TPM favors an exegesis interpretation of the Constitution rather than the liberals' eisegesis approach, and thus the Left claims it favors racism and desires to end SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and all welfare programs, all indications the Right wants to murder minorities and the poor as illustrated in the DNC's add about Boehner murdering a woman in a wheelchair. The left also accuses the TPM of favoring ending illegal immigration, secure borders, and verification of identity to vote in elections, all very "violent" nationalist positions as opposed to their favored one-world solution.

Then there was the supposed white racist at an Obama rally who was carrying an automatic assault weapon. It turned out the video was intentionally cropped by MSNBC so as to cover the fact it was a black man with a semi-auto assault looking weapon in a state where it was legal.

The Left also said racism of the TPM was proven by racist KKK signs and individuals at Tea Party rallies but it was shown that the individual was actually a Leftist agent provocateur, who by the way was chased off by Tea party members. It should be mention that Leftists had previously advocated doing such at TPM rallies.

The Left feels it was a criminal abuse of the 1st Amendment for the TPM to form to support the bailouts of banks and GM as they claim However, the TPM formed to protest such bailouts.

The Tea Party has criminally accepted financial backing from the Koch brothers according to the Left while the Left and OWS haven't gotten a dime from Soros.

While there were disruptions of Townhall meetings by Tea Party people demanding politicians answer questions, there were no setting of fires, rocks thru windows, rushing of speakers on stage, hitting politicians, or death threats to speakers as occurred when invited conservatives attempted to speak at some colleges.

Finally, certain Leftist sites like OpEdNews are insinuating that the coverage of violence and crimes at OWS rallies are manufactured or staged by right-wing media but that people like Limbaugh, Beck, and Palin were responsible for the wounding of Rep. Giffords. By the way, it was a conservative Republican federal judge who was killed, one that Obama can now replace and the shooter's writings were Leftist in nature.

You should make a list like this about the globalists...and the bankers. I think it is pathetic to attack people who get into the streets to scream for the freedom we so obviously lack. Poor move on your part, make another list, it will be much more revealing......

ETA: good idea on that thread, if anyone has time make it up, let's compare grievances.....this debate should be over, I would although I work loads at the moment and cannot compile it all personally.

This will fall on deaf ears. I've noticed that certain posters don't even bring up globalists at all.

Truth be told, both the Tea Party and OWS are tools of the elite, defending one over the other is kinda dumb. Sorry.

I guess certain people think the Koch brothers are the good elite, and George Soros is the bad kind. In this case it's like comparing white witches to black witches, unfortunately they're both just witches, and they both stink like dung.

Some people are annoyingly stubborn and uncompromising. At a time where we need unity and cooperation, we're getting just the opposite, and it's not helping. It makes me want to punch a kitten.
