I've read countless posts from many ATS members who are oh so quick to belittle those who are out on the street protesting against the banks, politicians, leaders, lobbyists and corporations.

I've heard them being called sheep, idiots, adolescents, morons, cowards, fools etc etc.

So, for all those with absolute disdain to the protesters - I can only assume you actually like living under the umbrella of a corporate controlled, elitist, war-mongering, tax stealing, profit scraping, lying, greedy and media-controlling, propaganda spewing society?

If not, then what are your answers?

How do YOU make the world a better place? What have you done to raise awareness or to raise your voice against these bastards?

That's like saying: "For everyone who thinks I'm stupid for breaking through the wall in my house therefore totally destroying it, what are YOU doing to stop bad insulation?"

Um-not sure where you're getting that from-it's actually the OWS supporters who are slinging around on these boards the words you listed.......

I'll bite.
I stopped using big banks years ago.
I paid off all debt years ago (no feeding the beast with interest).
I stopped buying from any big box type stores.
I stopped buying products from large international corps to maximum extent possible.
I reduced overall 'consumption' by things like growing food and continuing to wear last years clothes ..
And on the clothes front I but only real fibers (cotton, wool,linen, etc).
I walk most of the time.
Well I could go on with this list but you get the idea
don't feed the beast.
if the 99% really did this results would be a lot faster than silly protests.

Thank you Mr. Lizard. ATS is all bark and no bite, always talking about how people should organize and resist etc.etc., and then when people actually do what they've been preaching about, they get labeled as sheeple, idots, puppets etc. It seems as if their is no solution to the armchair warriors problems. Instead they come up with a conspiracy about the people trying to make a difference, and rant some more, hence the never ending cycle of all bark no bite.

Well, I do try. I try to spread positivity by things like smiling at strangers, holding doors open for people, assisting with house moves when required (even when I don't know the person) etc. basically contributing to humanity where I can. I challenge those around me to question the status quo and to open their minds up to any and all possibilities especially the way in which the facade of this parallel we dwell in operates.

I support as many independent business' as I can and strongly encourage others to do so, refusing to go through a fast food drive through or on the premises.

I try and keep every thought positive in order to spread positivity to all I come in contact with. I love those close to me and support them no matter what. In the music I create, socio-politically orientated themes are not what I focus on however, I spread the message and provoke thought as often as I can.

I drive as least I can, grow as much of my own food as an inner-city backyard permits and am extremely thankful for what I have.

Whilst I don't support the Occupy movement I respect that those guys are doing what they deem necessary. Just because I personally don't agree with the course of action doesn't mean I support corporate tyranny or any other of this worlds evils.
