Really good advice, also much like the technique he gives, to set the alarm clock and to rapidly try the techniques, cycle through them in less than a minute, only stay with one if you actually feel the sensation, otherwise, try for another wake time.

But seeing through your eyelids is a part of preliminary? Thats happened many times with me, and usually when it does, everything is like waves of energy to me.

edit to add: The roll out, and also the sensation of being underwater are discussed in this book.

Also, the water is interesting as Space is an ocean filled with energy waves.

I'm unlcear of your second paragraph, so a better explanation please...

But to elaborate on my experience, and give you mor e detail, in the dream with the controllers i found two coins in my pocket. I dont know how they got there or what they were, but they looked like quarters. The controllers would stop bothering me altogether when i rubbed the two coins together in between my fingers. I noticed this trend and used it often. (its coming back to me now) The guy that randomly walked up to me didnt say "they'll know if u ask questions". I remember now that he said " if you do that too much, they'll catch on". I knew the guy was referring to my coin rubbing method. So i did it less often. I also noticed that if i walked in one direction for long enough, i would return to my original spot. It was like i was on a miniture planet, covered in buildings. Either way i was frightened for a little bit.

I think it truly lies in the person though. You must have the open minded capacity to enter this state of consciousness, i think
. Also, some people are easily frightened by the authenticy of some dreams and choice not to venture further into the rabbit hole. I know that if i wasn't so imaginative, i wouldn't be able to alter matter in my lucid dreams.

Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know I tried this last night and it worked. I only got to my mirror (his recommended plan of action for our first OOBE), and then the next few 'awakening' times I forgot to actually follow the steps, but the first time, I remembered, and I did manage to get out of my body and see myself in my mirror. His instructions really do work!!

I was asleep, being woken up by her visit. In my sleep I was aware she had just walked straight into my house, middle of the night, headed for the bedroom, sat on the foot of the bed, talking excitedly about her date. I started waking up tossing and turning while she was talking, and then when awake. Got up and looked everywhere for her, because I knew she was there and it was real.

Next morning, she really came over, and had a coffee at possibly 6-7 am. I said to her, that I'd had a dream she came over in the middle of the night, and she showed me where she sat on the bed and told me all about her date.

That was when the reality of obe's became very clear to me.

If at all possible, I would love hear the accounts of both versions of that shared dream. I've been studying shared dreams for awhile, and it's very rare that I'll find both versions. As far as I'm concerned, shared dreams do happen. What's interesting is each dreamer experiences their own individual dream that may very well be different from the other dreamer's version, yet it's still a shared dream. These differences are archetypal in nature, and essentially describe the the same thing.

My problem with OBEs is that they are identical to dreams in every way. Treating them as something different only serves to confuse the matter, and then people end up with different sets of rules for each perceived situation when what is needed is a unified theory that works for both dreams and OBEs. OBEs tend to separate themselves from the core dreaming experience, yet referring as simply dreams tends to paint the whole thing as something mundane. An important past of dream control is how you conceptualize things. Not so much about thinking outside the box. but using the boxes to your advantage.

Suppression devices can be put on people. I take it they're kind of astral or not 3d but they are affecting your 3d body, and create magnetism and static electrical overloads happen, they put a hamper on you. The ones they consider dangerous, not as in violent, but psi wise. Now your post showed what is really going on here, how this is a controlled realm and they don't like people waking up in it. What I would do, since I'll never fight any child, is picture them firmly in my mind as children, if they were to intimidate, ie diapers and soothers. And create my own garden to be in to distance them from me. By picturing it. Also ask to quickly connect to Higher Self or for more of you, to come in. Link up to yourself. Reach for self. In one vision when being monitored doing dishes, my HS was right there and created a garden to work within. And within a moment what felt like real danger passed. That was a wake up garden, in there you would remember who you were. So its intention, setting intention.

The whole point of being here is to wake up and shine more of our abilities light/love and awareness here in this world, in the very least. And having faith that we're not allowed to be harmed, when we ourselves are attempting to overcome any ability to harm ourselves. When in doubt, sending compassion to anyone who attempts to put limits on a person is good.

A family member talked about flying all over the solar system when she was preschool. Only once did she encounter a force that scared her so she hard landed back in bed.

Why do we need to look in the mirror. That seems to equate establish the shadow?

I see. Now that you mention this, there's been "controllers" in other situations where i was altering the dream dramatically. When i was forming the energy ball in that other dream, and checking it out, more hostile guys showed up. But they were a distance away so i couldn't get a good look at them. For some reason, i feared that they had guns and were trying to hurt us.

Now by us, i mean me and some random dude i've never seen. This dude didn't act like everyone else either. He actually stopped and talked with me. It was like he was in this "experience" also.

I'm taking in what you said, and i'll def. put it to use. Hopefully i get results. Now that im really thinking about it, this stuff all sounds crazy, and it seems crazy when i reaccount (picture) it. It's definitly very clear in my mind though, and as it all comes back to me, it only gets stranger. haha wtf.

I do think there may be rules that are good, for our protection, this isn't being said willfully. But many have shared some more alarming things occurring during obe's including some of Mr. Greens' threads, such as having an attack, where she had someone throw a planet through her like a bowling ball. So just in case, its good to have strong sense of unconditional love, unwillingness to turn and get physical, and real plans ahead of time what would work.

This here:

- Not Recognizing the Phase
Practitioners often enter the phase but then return
back to the body because they feel that what occurred
is not what they had expected. For example, when
observing images they are often pulled into the
scenery, or they are spontaneously thrown into another
world when rotating. Practitioners often think that they
have to experience the feeling of separation itself,
which is why they might return back to their bodies in
order to obtain it. The same applies to becoming
conscious while dreaming, as the practitioner is already
in the phase and it only remains to deepen and
implement his plan of action.

Very interesting. Because according to the author, those times I was pulled, but didn't feel separated, but was still actively participating in this other place, apparently were a form of obe's. I had no idea.

Oh wow! Yeah, i see what you mean. When my enviroment comepletly changes, in the OBE or lucid dream, i simply go along with it and i continue exploring. I dont stop and go "hey!" Then wake up. Thanks alot for posting that, because i remember a time when i couldn't do that, and i would be forced out of the dream. awesome.

Well that's something I don't do. I don't wait on other people's experiences in such a case that the instructions are free and can be practiced pretty quickly.

Thanks for this link! I have been practicing this stuff for about twenty some years. I have gradually learned how to transform my meditations into OBEs and dream lucidly just about every time I sleep. So, I'm not actually a beginner. But, after reading the first couple pages of the book, I went ahead and figured, why not just try it now? And I got to several places that I am already familiar with, as well as almost but not quite getting to the bridge of a spaceship. The Greys used to scare the piss out of me, and anytime I encountered even the hint of interacting with them, I would snap back so fast my entire body would give a startle response. In this case, even though I was not fully materialized in the environment, I could see it relatively distinctly, and was able to look at and attempt to communicate with a couple of them, with zero fear. It was very cool.

This was a much quicker advance for me than has been normal in the past. I'm looking forward to a lot of fun in the near future. Perhaps this is what the 2012 thing is about.....everybody learning to be aware of and interact in different but real other realities. I highly recommend that anyone interested in this stuff, look into Thomas Campbell's books "My Big TOE" and website. He is a physicist who worked with Robert Monroe and has the quantum mechanics science stuff for how and why it works.

Stay well.

I would say that I agree with you, that lucid dreams and OBEs are the same phenomenon. The only difference I have detected is that in lucid dreaming you become aware that you are dreaming only after you have fallen asleep consciously. With OBEs you enter the alternate reality with conscious mind intact.

Stay well.

Well I've seen through my lids, and in meditation a few days ago felt myself rolling without trying to.

So practicing this would be good. The first part in the book is very fast to read.

And I think a 40 min meditation, to after 10 minutes, to attempt to spend the 1 minute cyclling 3 different techniques, 3 times, only staying with one if you feel the effect is a good idea. Just to practice ahead of time. You only cycle 3 different techniques, ie. swimming, or seeing something, and leaping in, or wiggling your feet and hands, only if you don't quickly roll out at the beginning.

Set the alarm for tomorrow.

Apparently it takes effort of will, ie you have a strong intention of doing it.

Well, it never hurts to try. I travel all through time and space in my dreams, anyway. I've tried OOBE and never had any conclusive evidence that I actually completely left my body. But, when I am dreaming I feel like I am actually at the location I am experiencing... so maybe I am OOB but just perceive it as a dream. Hmm. I will read this anyway, thanks for posting.

You cant become a Supreme bowler with the balls that the house gives you ..

Be very careful with OBE's compared to Lucid Dreaming ..

Learn Before you go OB .. Lucid dream is one way.. but CV is the best tool you have before venturing into the the unknown...

CV is Key.

Please Dont go into OBE unless you can Create the Silver Cord ! ( Lifeline ).

This is your warning ..

A word of caution please. LOL. There are many beings/ETs, and what not, that would like you to just get to the control room of the space ship, its not that you're not welcome there. For me its more, do I really wish to go there? I can close my eyes and go there quite quickly, those images arise quickly. In meditation too. Lately its more effort to avoid this, which could be quite a trap. If I learn to OBE, I'm heading to the higher realms to try to talk to Higher Self and Higher Guides for real direction about this world, and get some insight.

If you have the right connection, you can achieve a true OOBE tonight... a few grams of dried psilocybin mushrooms, alone in a dark room and not only will you have an OOBE but you will see amazing things, possibly meet and talk to aliens or even god. not only is it guaranteed to work, it is easier and more real than reading a book and incredibly safe. books are written to make money for the author and publisher - it's usually just b.s. whereas the mushroom is real and provides a real experience that will most likely change your life for the better...
