I'm not sure what you're getting at here.

NO ONE is forcing you to drink kosher Pepsi. If you were smart, you'd avoid it altogether. Kosher or not, if it contains HFCS, it's not kosher no matter what they claim. Doc Brown's soda is certified kosher and it uses HFCS. Sounds rather hypocritical to me.

It sounds to me more like you have a hatred of Jews.

This is an overly simplistic view of the economic impact through the supply chain of Kosher approval. By increasing the number of people to whom the product can be sold, companies can actually realize a reduction in per unit cost due to economy of scale. Further, maintaining two separate inventories, one for Kosher and one for "regular" product, can increase stock keeping costs beyond what Kosher approval can cost.

Coca-Cola and Pepsi kosher for 51 weeks out of the year.

Actually, HFCS is kosher, just not for Pesach.

Same with boxes of Matza crackers. They are all labeled kosher, but some are labeled for Passover use, and others are labeled not for passover use.

Kosher does not mean that is necessarily healthy. It just means that it does not contain any of the items that the Torah lists as unclean.

It is the derivative of a plant, and all plants are kosher.

Because the corn is considered to be fermented, and fermented grain is not permitted on Passover, HCFS is banned during that week . . . or not kosher.

well,

Perhaps many people simply don't know what is or isn't Kosher.

It's not like they teach it in schools and many items are not really advertised as Kosher most of the time.

Hersheys seems to be all Kosher, but how does that get conveyed to the general public?

One has to know the "certification" markings (usually in small print) in order to know.

People who DO know, and know about the various markings would be the only ones that understand the choice.

If someone who is not Jewish and wants to find out, what's the problem?

Many Christian and Muslim people have no idea what Kosher is.

I have heard of people looking for the markings in order to avoid the products !

Is there any non-Jewish religions that forbid Kosher?

I wonder if the Kosher ID is small because of fear of "no sale"?

Maybe xenophobia works in two directions?

Since i'm forced to take part of others people faith and law against my will, i think it is an issue.

i worked in food production for 16 years, the more inspections the better.

we were inspected by the government, private contractors from the supermarket chains and the rabbis.

the rabbis inspecting were always honest and very helpful in keeping corporations in check by supporting quality assurance.

i'm not jewish, but i eat kosher since i appreciate their inspections.
