Wow nativeokie! This is like they're handing the whole thing to Kerry on a platter.
You go on believing that. I found his speach refreshing and honest. I also felt the Vice Predident did a good job.
On the other hand I found Matthews and Blitzer to be very partisan in their attacks on Sen. Miller. I came away from those interviews with the opinion that if your a Democrat, and you voice an anti-party line opinion, CNN and Hardball are places you better avoid.
It comes downt to personal opinion I guess. You, as a liberal Democrat say this as a disaster for the Republicans. I as a moderate Republican, found them to be speaking to me.
Sure, maybe a few too many mentions of God for me, but the Democrats had their share of that crap too.
And, frankly, as far as the negative portrayal of Kerry... Well I can't say I heard anything that wasn't true.
btw.. The fact that all of the threads at the top of the recent post list are anti-Bush? That is nothing new.. Been that way for months. And I am only counting threads from Rant.
EDIT- To add "Flame away boys, I can take it."

I will say that Chris Mathews handled himself very well and stayed profesional throughout the interview. I kept thinking maybe he did miss understand but now learning from you he lost it equally as bad minutes before on CNN it confirms the guy is a troubled man.
I am still shaking my head, just wishing that NBC had picked up the coverage to ensure it was seen by more.

Leave it to the Democrats to start the spinning. If zell miller came out and said that every American would be given $10,000 just for being American you guys would rip him apart. What was said is that Kerry was a no-show for 20 years in congress, that why he won't speak about his record.
Together, Kennedy/Kerry have opposed the very weapons system that won the Cold War and that is now winning the War on Terror.
Listing all the weapon systems that Senator Kerry tried his best to shut down sounds like an auctioneer selling off our national security but Americans need to know the facts.
The B-1 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, dropped 40% of the bombs in the first six months of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The B-2 bomber, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered air strikes against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Hussein's command post in Iraq.
The F-14A Tomcats, that Senator Kerry opposed, shot down Khadifi's Libyan MIGs over the Gulf of Sidra. The modernized F-14D, that Senator Kerry opposed, delivered missile strikes against Tora Bora.
The Apache helicopter, that Senator Kerry opposed, took out those Republican Guard tanks in Kuwait in the Gulf War. The F-15 Eagles, that Senator Kerry opposed, flew cover over our Nation's Capital and this very city after 9/11.
I could go on and on and on: Against the Patriot Missile that shot down Saddam Hussein's scud missiles over Israel, Against the Aegis air-defense cruiser, Against the Strategic Defense Initiative, Against the Trident missile, against, against, against.
This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces?
U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?
Twenty years of votes can tell you much more about a man than twenty weeks of campaign rhetoric.

The previous Spanish government were backing the war on Iraq, then Al-Qaida attacked the train and the socialist/Communist party used to as a banner and promised people that if they were elected they would remove the spanish troops from Iraq, there by Al-Qaida would not attack them anymore. The Spanish people cave in. They thought that if they stayed out of Iraq, they would not be attacked anymore. Just like France.
