That's better than a flock of ravens, which is a murder. I think people flock too. Have you ever worked at a fast-food restaurant? Everyone seems
to get hungry at the same time. Cars clump on the expressway, even kids play in 'flocks' on the playground. I found some rules for flocking:
1.Separation - avoid crowding neighbors (short range repulsion)
2.Alignment - steer towards average heading of neighbors
3.Cohesion - steer towards average position of neighbors (long range attraction)
It's still amazing that they don't run into each other.
