Sci fi movies imitating life .

This one caught me off guard , they put a price tag to it . A minor $100,000 just to explore the notion that we have idealized as possible after watching these movies . Is it really going to be having any results , or a smoke screen since they already have it done ?

Here is the thing , if they do succeed in this endeavor ? Would they go big and use it to it's full potential or keep it on the small scale with probes on other planets surfaces only as a new dust mop for solar panels and scooping soil samples ?

The Chronicles Of Riddick and the weapons used ( Military excitement ) . Star Trek and Star Wars references .

Keep your fingers crossed that they may be coming around or was it the right time to make it worth public knowledge . Reverse engineering had a glitch they couldn't make work perhaps , one never really knows . So lets outsource it in a fashion and get people behind the Nasa program once again . Some people do have a genuine interest and commitment in NOT making our species extinct , but with testosterone boosted stuffed shirts at the triggers all the time ( sigh ) in the offices to sacrifice others .

This doesn't always have to be used as a weapon but they will think of a way to use it as one .
