Going back to what JAK said about quotes being removed.....The forum number 26 that JcMinJapan mentioned some while back has had all entries by a member called echoRanger removed. Couldn't be linked to our friend with the geocities page Ranger426, could it?? From the other peoples posts and from what I remember of this thread, I believe members had to guess either where he worked or what his occupation was. I'll see if there is any link with what's going on here.

Remember back when Simon told us not to ask us where DrJim studied at University?
Could this be something we could try and find out?

Also someone said in this thread that "my password is the goal"...well you need a password to reveal hidden messages in image files.

Also i doubt all this hidden messages and stuff like that,because in the new Terms and Conditions in the games and events section it says something to do with not using hacking tools or something else for clues so this could mean we dont need to use any steganography programs or crypto deciphering.

Not to be skeptical but how come thier is text in the bottom right corner on both pics, that says It's all a game? Personally if you wanted my opinion.. The Terrain and sky tell me one thing " Montana" The mountains are very rocky mixed with clay and some shrubbery. Although The Rocky Mountains through Colorado and Utah are similar, the sky does not give off the appearence of being so big as if you were in Montana. The aircraft.. no idea, not in the Air Force or Navy so dont want to speculate. My guess would be location: Montana.

I jus found dog is blue & it is not ok from one of my personal essays.
I think the site and all the codes it gives (dog is blue, my pass is goal, egg is broken, it is not ok) are hoax. and have nothing to do with our subject.

Yeah I agree, they must have a set number of answers and they trot them out randomly..............BUT, in the ATS thread that JAK found (top pg 25) look who replies to this thread saying 'cool site'. Maybe this site is being used because it will give out accurate clues. Also, although nothing has worked so far, PASSWORD IS GOAL does fit in with the way some of the Stenography programs work......you need the access code/password to decipher the image.......

We can't use random steg/crypto apis. There are virtually infinite possibilities to decrypt a string using different algorithms. And there is also a lot of bogus programs. Like Cryptographever. I fed it 4 sets of 10k pseudorand chars and it gave me the following:

my password is goal
i need guns
i need guns
hit target

Don't believe it.

It's not in RATS. If you try a thread number that doesn't exist, you always get the "you are not permitted..."-message.
