It's always going to look that way too from the supporters of 'the other guy'.
I think the biggest problem is that we have a politician trying to create a political circus, and wasting our tax dollars to do it.
So hey Op, how much money is this RRWNJ* costing us as opposed to how much President Obama makes off of a book royalty?
Oh and while we are on the subject of jobs... OF which indirectly this IS.
Author, (No matter who the frak he is) creates demand for book.
Publisher, advertiser, retailer, and the shippers of those books are parts of the economic ladder/chain, which have employees who get a fraction of that sale each time there is a sale.
Those employees spend money on food, shelter, security, taxes....
Which in turn puts money in other peoples pockets as well.
Of which is a self perpetuating loop, most folks recognize as economics....
Or is it just because you and the RRWNJ politician have issues with the -AUTHOR-.
Would there be as much stink if the President was giving away books by, Ron Paul,Herman Cain, Rick Perry, or any other author? I can bet the answer to that is a firm no.
So what really is the issue? Every other damned President in the country gave crap away during their Presidency, what makes this any different? Answer, its because we happen to have a President who isn't a RRWNJ in the White House.
Which is where all this leads to, isn't it?
