WASHINGTON — One of the immutable laws of American politics has been that while voters typically loathe Congress, they tend to tolerate their own lawmaker. Now, with ratings for the institution in the root cellar and approval of individual lawmakers heading there, members of Congress and analysts are beginning to wonder if that law could be repealed next year. Is congress finally getting the hint? We the people are tired of do nothings that promise whatever they have to, just to get elected and re elected. Then when they get in office, they forget who put them there and why. According to the article, voter satisfaction is at an all time low. It should be. Neither side cares enough to compromise and do what's good for the people. Just party loyalty, no matter what.

When it comes to our representatives and senators...all politics is local.

This explains alot as to why places such as detriot, Cleveland, ad hominum, continue to circle the drain.

Pleople refiuse to believe that they can be wrong and have a really hard time accepting the hard facts.
