Instead of zombies I would call them "pod people".

What to do...............go about like everything is a okay, there is now more of "them" then us. (Possibly I don't know for sure)/

Advance your soul, grow, ascend, try to practice kindness and unconditional love and hope good karma follows suit.

I've never encountered anyone that wanted to eat me.

Lucky me.

I would suggest to run very fast.

Did you see that Left 4 Dead video I posted end of last page?

Whats all that talk about reloading?

In the movies they fire off thousands of rounds before they have to reload. I want a gun like that.

your not going to get a hand held firearm that holds more than about 100 rounds before reloading. the calico liberty has a 100 round 9mm helical mag. the beta c mag holds 100 rounds for an ar-15 and then you have the surefire mags that hold 60 and 100 rounds. choice is yours what you get.

100 rounds is better than 6.

What can you do with 6 rounds when the hordes of zombies are all around you closing in?

I saw a guy on youtube once, a cop who could change cartridges pretty fast though. Let me see if I can find it...

What about this one? How many rounds can it hold? 100 rounds?

Chunky friends, that smoke...cardio rule #1 you don't got to be the fastest of a group...just not the slowest!

With the right mags it would. do a little research on firearms and then go find some. you'll find what you like. I'm a big fan of revolvers. but revolvers are not left hand freindly. but i figured out ways to get past that

a katana is the best weapon.

bullets run out. bombs are impractical. tear gas may not work. a katana is sharp enough to cut through body and doesnt run ouy of ammo. pack a secondary in case the primary breaks, or use both at the same time.

A real katana. not these cheap mall blades. But that takes skill most people do not have. knowing how to properly take care of the blade. most people do not know that either. its not like sharpening a pocket knife ill tell you that.

Yeah but you have to be right there in the middle of them. They would have you in a corridor, a hallway, like in any commercial building, the first place people pile junk, is in the hallway, because floor space is at a premium, and they never have enough space for anything.

Then you have the mess, which may be contagious. If you are so close you can smell their breath or their feet, your eyes will be watering. You know they do stink a bit.

My favorite is the BFG 9000. It's an oldie but goodie.

en.wikipedia.org...

Specifically for tight indoor spaces like churches or warehouses and highrise buildings

Chainsaws are too messy and I always worry about blood contamination. If I cut myself in the process, and their blood mixes with mine...it's safe to assume I'm screwed.

You need something with multiple rounds. Fully Auto or Semi AK? Dunno, Ar-15 I'm thinking.

Flamethrower is probably the best defense, but don't set your friends on fire, there aren't many 'friends' around to spare.

If you can mod out a bank currency transport truck, you're ahead of the game. Tanks....I dunno. You gotta come out sometime and if it runs out of gas, you had better be ready to wait it out for a long time. Zombies have lots of time to kill.

If you can get this:

wiki.teamfortress.com...

this

wiki.teamfortress.com...

or this

wiki.teamfortress.com...

you might have an advantage.

Don't be a sniper though, bad choice. They always locate where you are and you wake up the next morning and hundreds of them are around your location.

depending on the immensity of the outbreak, I would head up to a ski resort or the mountains where theres gondolas and nice luxurious cabins etc...that or I would immediately work on getting together a team to seize a cruise ship.

by team I mean freelance survival specialists, cruise ship captain, weapons expert, 2-3 physicians, fishermen/cooks, and whoever else I could find along the way.

I like the prison idea, maybe a FEMA camp, or not since the barbed wire would be facing in.

don't go to hospitals, as thats where the virus would most likely spread from. wouldn't that make sense??

the university in my city is part of a skyscraper, it would work as a good base of operations, very close to the overground transit system which could be walked on for miles. the platforms extend in the air about 25-30 ft. and at points have bridges and underground ports. you could literally walk from the university in the suburbs, into downtown, above ground. thats about 10 miles

I am a fan of the good old fashioned shovel (flat edged). A really good decapitating tool (one of it's many uses!)
