It should also be remembered that Jesus' family were members of the Essenes, a Christian mystery school that taught a more metaphysical approach to Christianity than we have now, one that included the same influences Jesus would have been journeying to learn. It should also be mentioned that Mary Magdalen, who is still considered as Jesus' wife by many in the Languedoc area of France today, was said to be a priestess from a Nubian mystery school unrelated to the Judeo-Christian faiths.

Christinianity didn't hit the scene until several years after Jesus ascended. Those who accepted Christ as the messiah were jews not christians. The word christian means "to be like christ" or "little christ" or "child of christ". The essenes were a jewish sect like the pharisees and sadducees. In fact the believers weren't even called "christians" until the Apostle Paul got tired of the jews rejecting Jesus so he took the gospel to the gentiles who readily accepted the Messiah and the Holy Spirit which began at Antioch, not Jerusalem but in Syria rather than Israel. Many of the Lost Tribes of Israel could believe in the messiah when the jews flat out refused to believe in him which is where Islam sprang out of.

Mary Magdalena was one of the Apostles. She and Mary the mother of Jesus were both present at Pentecost and recieved the Holy Spirit. She was not the wife of Jesus, the Lamb could not be defiled by a woman or he would not have been pure.

After deliberate study of the Essenes I conclude (for myself) that the Essenes were not limited to a religion. Jesus in my opinion preached against Religion. www.essenespirit.com... Jesus teachings were similar to Buddha's.

They were not limited to a single religion, but studied all of them in order to extract the great scientific principles. They considered each religion to be a different stage of a single revelation. They accorded great importance to the teachings of the ancient Chaldeans, of Zoroaster, of Hermes Trismegiste, to the secret instructions of Moses and of one of the founding Masters of their order who had transmitted techniques similar to those of Buddhism, as well as to the revelation of Enoch.
They possessed a living science of all of these revelations.
Thus, they knew how to communicate with angelic beings and had solved the question of the origin of evil on the earth.
The Essenes considered themselves the guardians of the Divine Teaching. They had in their possession a great number of very ancient manuscripts, some of them going back to the dawn of time. A large portion of the School members spent their time decoding them, translating them into several languages, and reproducing them, in order to perpetuate and preserve this advanced knowledge. They considered this work to be a sacred task.
The Essenes considered their Brotherhood-Sisterhood as the presence on earth of the Teaching of the sons and daughters of God. They were the light which shines in the darkness and which invites the darkness to change itself into light. Thus, for them, when a candidate asked to be admitted to their School, it meant that, within him, a whole process of awakening of the soul was set in motion. Such a soul was ready to climb the stairs of the sacred temple of humanity.
The Essenes differentiated between the souls which were sleeping, drowsy, and awakened. Their task was to help, to comfort, and to relieve the sleeping souls, to try to awaken the drowsy souls, and to welcome and guide the awakened souls. Only the souls considered as awakened could be initiated into the mysteries of the Brotherhood-Sisterhood. Then began for them a path of evolution that could not stop anymore through the cycle of their incarnations.

If Jesus couldn't be 'defiled" by a woman, why then did he choose to come through the birth canal of Mary's vagina, after having spent 10 months in her uterus? What about all the curd, caul, imbilical fliud and bloody discharge, that didn't defile him?

Also, in all probability, Jesus was married as rabbinic law required of any man, little less leader. Jesus was referred to as "rabbi." According to rabbinic law rabbi's must be married with children, to prove that they can manage their own house before the house of god.

I think that you just pull facts out of your rear end to complete your argument. Mary Magdelene was probably the wife of Jesus, but she was definately not an apostle. These are the original apostles:

The original twelve disciples/apostles are listed in Matthew 10:2-4, “These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him.” The Bible also lists the twelve disciples/apostles in Mark 3:16-19 and Luke 6:13-16. A comparison of the three passages shows a couple of minor differences in the names. It seems that Thaddaeus was also known as “Judas, son of James” (Luke 6:16) and Lebbaeus (Matthew 10:3). Simon the Zealot was also known as Simon the Canaanite (Mark 3:18). Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus, was replaced in the twelve apostles by Matthias (see Acts 1:20-26). Some Bible teachers view Matthias as an “invalid” apostle and believe that Paul was God's choice to replace Judas Iscariot as the twelfth apostle.

.... I have to give you a double thumbs up on starting the thread. I, for one, found it very interesting and I agree with alot of what you are saying about Jesus being a witch.

Just an interesting tidbit about that 20 year lasp in the story, it is rumored that jesus might have gone to india or other far east countries in asia and became a (now this is were stories differ) Great buddah, high preist, and teacher in a temple. They say it was a "Man from nazerath who knew a great deal about morality" and it was around the same time period.

SUSPICIOUSSSSSSS!

That is not magic, its called miracles and to date not one person who wasn't filled with the Holy Spirit has been able to raise the dead, or heal the blind and deaf or even resurrect his own body. Have you known of any sorcerers who could raise themselves from the dead and be completely healed? No you do not. Magic is what witches who serve demons do and not a one of them is able to raise the dead or even heal.

You should stop playing those dungeons and dragons games, they will rot your brain. By the way you have commited blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and there can be no forgiveness for that not in this life or the next. Don;t know what that means? Look it up and see the penalty youre going to pay.

You do not deny it is magic, you only rename it. A pig with lipstick is still a pig, and if you can't accept that, your going to need some help. Magic, as stated before, is a simple minipulation of energies, and/or summoning of spirits, and/or praying.

:O Did I just say praying was a form of magic? Yes, yes I did.

Also, I found your second paragraph quite offensive, as you are creating an image of me in your mind that does not fit in real life. This may sound shallow, but how you think a person looks can greatly affect your opinion of them. Also, why would the Holy Spirit punish me for thinking about religon in a new way? If I am wrong, why would god forgive the murdering rapist and not me? Yeah, thats what I thought.

Dont take it personaly, He was just trying to equate magic = scifi/fantasy.
Another attempt at discrediting me.

Lets drop this, got too far off topic and might start a flame war.

Being defiled by a woman in the bible meant engaging in sexual relations, particularly when lustful or the loss of your virginity, which was your purity and chasteness, it had nothing to do with being born from a woman, it had to do with having sex which brings on desires of lust (which is a sin). There was no sexual lust when he was a baby being born, there was no self gratifying pleasure to be gained from that experience.

Jesus lived his whole life without sex and hung out with a prostitute and theifs?

Thats even more unlikely than his virgin birth!

"Warlock" is a television term. All are Witches, from the Ancient word wicche (13th century)

The word "witch" seems to denote etymologically "one that knows." it is historically both masculine and feminine; indeed the Anglo-Saxon form wicca, to which the English word is to be traced, is masculine alone. "Wizard" is given as masculine for witch, but it has in reality no connection with it.

What would you say the Wiccan belief is, exactly?
I would say the ways of the Pagans and Wiccans have been around for way longer than Jesus has. Earth and Planet worship, and Astronomy goes far back in history.

Magic can be practised by any regardless of religion. it is simply the art of practising magic.

Not to be too technical my friend, but this is more like "Folk Magic".

Voodoo, or properly Voodou is an african traditional religion found among the Haitian people. It is the practice of venerating African deities from the Dahomean region in Africa. It is similar to other such traditional religions such as Santaria, Palomayombe, Candomble, Lukumi, and other less known traditions. Some traditions conceal their worship of the deity by masking them as Catholic Saints. This was done because the slave master did not approve of the slaves keeping their own faith.

So, don't buy the Hollywood stereotype.

Voodoo is not a catch all for magic of any sort.

With Love,

Your Brother
