Yeah, yet another OWS thread.

If you're tired of reading them, may I suggest a good alien/Nirubu thread? The're down the hall to the left.

OWS isusing what I will call "The Cute Baby Kitten Defense".

When they say, "We want a global/socialist one-world economy along with a totalitarian regime and we want to rescue baby kittens."

Others will say, "I don't agree with you."

Then they retort back with, "Why do you hate baby kittens?"

Then the topic goes back and forth with why people like/dislike baby kittens and the main focus of their true aims remains untouched.

Well, time to cut the Cute Baby Kitten Defense.

OWS? What are your goals? Get rid of the 1%? Replace them with what? Get rid of the free market system? Replace it with what? Get rid of the financial system? Replace it with what?

Nope. I'd like to see an end to corporatism in politics.

But the OWS movement tosses that "baby kitten" out there so the other issues aren't discussed.

I am speaking for myself, of course, but I think most people at ATS agree that change is necessary. I don't believe that the "American system" as it was laid out in the Constitution, supports corporate greed. IMO it has been taken over by greedy political whores. The banks have become what they are because corrupt politicians have made the system this way to suit their own ends and those of their political contributors.

OWS should be on the white house lawn. That's where the problem originates.
