Two recent dreams, one a few days ago, one last night. I don't often remember anything that happens in my dreams, but these two stood out.

First one: I was in a "situation", what this was I don't know but something bad was going on. To "prove" myself, or fend off something, I had to hold up a variety of edged weapons- in this order: a small hunting knife, a Gurkha Kukri, a really big Bowie knife, a large Medieval hand-and-a half broad sword, then a truly massive two-handed renaissance mercenary’s sword. The last two seemed very familiar to me, as if they were mine and I knew them from old.

Any ideas what that was about?

Second: I was on a beach, one local to me but it wasn’t the same one (if you get my drift) and something like a jelly fish – grey in colour, six foot across, hollow inside and domed, all warty around the edges – fell out of the sky to land nearby with a loud wobbling splat sound. There was a very fine, two stranded wire leading back into the sky attached to the top of the creature, but I “knew” it had nothing to do with its decent. I realised I had to phone the police to report it, as children had gathered around and I believed they were about to stone the poor thing, but simply couldn’t make out the street name where I was.

Same request as above…

No drugs involved, three beers that night, no cheese taken prior to sleep. Did take my usual single Montmorency cherry tablet to aid sleep.

So, over to you lot. Let the diagnosis begin…

Hey Man, I want to thank you for posting this.
It caught my attention so well, i had to try and revive my old account, but, it was going too slow and i couldn't wait.

I had two dreams, and I know my cousin also had two dreams the same night. last night, and the night before. oddly intense, and easy to remember.

My fascination with this is, "I am hopeless" at remembering dreams, but lately i have had the most bizarre and intense dreams, when keep in my, i have never had a nightmare.
But, over the past few days i have had dreams where, my own friends were brainwashed, and had threatened to do the same to me. so (Somehow i remembered like 2 hours worth) i was running, and running, genuinely scarred to death, but one time, they caught me off guard.. twice i might add, the first time, i fought my way out of, with fists.
the second time, someone had found my "cure" to this brainwashing stuff(in a syringe), and attempted to take it.. i found myself with a large knife, i first tried to pull my once 'dear' friend of mine, away. but he is bigger, so i hit him... in the end, i was forced to use my weapon. And when i did, i woke up after punching the dresser beside my bed..

now, i forgot to mention that i woke up several times in fright, but Still went on dreaming, about the exact thing.. this is unheard of for me, and to make it weirder no details changed, like how dreams do. i just went from place to place..

that was the main dream, i will quickly surmise the others as i have to leave , The second was, again, involving my friends. they were all crying, and yelling at me saying "WHY DID YOU DO IT" i never figred out what it was they were talking about.. :\
- Another2 that my cousin had, both had the same strange man in it from both nights. he was in the form of a soldier the first, and he yelled all the time, first he would yell and say(like a baseball coach) "YOUR OUT OF HERE" and attack the hostile forces... then he would heal my cousin while he was suffering from a bullet graze, and say "YA HEALED NOW GET OUT OF HERE!"... very strange, the 3rd time, my cousin was in a car(Humvee) and said "you're a good driver, whats your name" ... the response; "iT'S ME (his own name) YOU KNOW WHO I AM"
Very strange isnt it. the last one, is simple. he returns in the next dream, but as a school teacher who yells alot" and my cousin kept having aggressive urges toward him, and he attacked him.


So my point i guess is.. Why are we having violent urges/feelings in dreams, of "war", "emotion, "anger" and "violence".
I don't know what point you are trying to make, but it caught my eye, and reached out to me, because These dreams have had a huge affect on me. and i can't explain these unusual circumstances.

OP do you play video games? cause this seriously sounds like the 2 dreams should fit together and you gotta kill the giant jelly fish boss.

Not a bad idea... of course i neglected to mention that me and my cousin were playing BF3 beforehand. lol. it's all a conspiracy, link BF3 with the dream Pandemic!

The one from Zelda? Yeah i remember that one LOL

The one that stood out for me was where I was walking in a big city like downtown and a huge rush of water came in to a lower level decline and was washing many people away. Good to post dreams and see if anyone else had similar.
