Why not? Whats wrong with being happy, stop being "hungry", and help others stop feeling "hungry"?
You may be in control of your emotions to a certain extent but it's impossible to make yourself feel happy 100% of the time. For every positive emotion there is an equal negative emotion. The wise man has experienced a wide range of emotions, the ignorant man has experienced only a small spectrum of emotions. It's the same thing as living in a developed western country, in a good home, with a good family that loves and cares for you, without ever contemplating the people who live in extreme poverty on the other side of the world, with barely any food or shelter. It could be termed "selective living"; where you ignore or deny any experience which you don't like.

What iam saying is that we can always be feeling good, one day less, other more, but always good.
Its and emotion and its ours, we control them!

Life is a path, maybe i died of hunger also in others lives but then other lives came, i made my path, i feel like being happy, ending this duality game, the dark/light game, transcend it, that's the challenge i wrote about, maybe some people are not there yet, but they will in their right time.
I wish those souls the best. Maybe a life of hunger has some valuable lesson in it, I trust that all life experiences have some good in it.edit on 29-10-2011 by Manula because: (no reason given)
I think it's possible for one to be happy much more often than one is sad...but it is impossible to be happy 100% of the time.
I wrote about emotional freedom, to watch and control your emotions, to be in a positive energy mode, to be a positive pole, to be a creator of positive energy. You think that's impossible?
I don't agree with that. I'm not religious but some of the best debates are about religion. Assuming the OP is religious, then the OP must believe in Hell...and Hell is a place literally created for pain and sadness. If you can't die again in Hell, and you're able to make yourself feel happy most of the time...then what is the point? You could have a party in Hell if you wanted to. Just because it's supposed to be a sad place full of hellfire, that's no reason we can't be happy right? So yes, I agree with the OP on the point of controlling emotions, just not 100% of the time.
No use in debating with religious people
