Fliers Drop on Occupy Chicago Protesters

I loved it they don't get it and never will they need them they just don't see how bad they do with out Wall Street and investors and investment firms this country would cease to exist.

The only thing that has ripped people off for decades and takes money goes blows it comes back and doesn't ask just takes.

And of course that answer is the thing they scream for more of: The US Ferderal Government.

I think the end game will be a bloody revolution. I don't know when it will happen, but the collapse of the off balance system is eminent. Like many have said, we're only getting concessions, not solutions. They aren't interested in solutions that will fix the problem that the 99% have, so eventually it will hit the fan.

It looks a lot like other systems that have failed in the past. It's not as bad, but we're also not the same type of country as others.

The highly trained private security personnel and military will be on their side if it came to that. Bloody revolution will only result in no freedom for anybody and lots of dead innocents, mostly poor and middle class ones.

I don't know.. I look at these OWS protestors who have issues with large corporations, meanwhile they blog about it using corporate internet access, on Macs while listening to their ipods ..

I don't think they really know much about what they even want.. they want Socialism but have never experienced it. Those that lived under Socialism wanted Capitalism. IMO it all comes down to greed.. they want the Government to steal our money and hand it over to them in the form of freebies and handouts.

I agree on some points, but disagree on others. Frankly, Im sick of the back and forth over this issue. Some people support it some don't.

Im gonna go get my snowblower running and take some water to the protesters.

It is a snarky, douchey letter, but much of it is true. I know traders and they are extremely hard working, dedicated, and driven. In the workplace elsewhere, most people are anything but (let's be honest).

So it appears as though we are looking at the complete collapse of both Democracy and the Republic

The alternative is a Dictatorship which will include the loss of freedoms or Mob Rule which will restratify itself into something even less civilized.

I want small Government. OWS needs a common goal,and one that everyone supports. Problem is once they have ALL that,you might see OWS become the liberal counter-point to the Tea Party. The folks that are not Radical,and are everyday folks,I feel for them. The rest, well I smell agenda on them. You could say I am 99%,but I dont subscribe to 70% of the talking points these people believe in. Its one story to say "End the Fed",Get Government out of our pockets"another to march hand in hand with someone that is screaming,"Eat the rich". Thats why you dont see EVERYONE at these.

EXCUSE ME. The poor is struggling more than anyone else right now. I am gosh darned,(wish I could really say what I am thinking!) sick of people blaming the poor and putting down the poor. Where the heck do you get off? I come on ATS because I like it here not to continue to hear people's hatred of us poor folk. It is sickening and to put us in the same catergory as the rich is rude. The rich are greedy, the poor are needy see a difference here? The poor may have 2 rolls of toilet paper while the rich have2 houses. I worked for 15 years of my life very hard, went to college and now disabled. I still work but live on less than $12k a year. I would love to work part time in my feild and make $24K! How the heck is that considered greedy. What is wrong with you? Have you never struggled? Have you never needed help?

Everyone is living check to check.
Some even worse then others.
No one hates poor people.
Theres a lot of Anger at the Government for keeping poor people poor.
Imagine a government,where you dont pay Taxes?

That letter that was sent to the OWS was really arrogant as well I really can't believe this is the type of society I live in. Where the rich blame the poor.

We the people do not need Wall street investors to produced what we need.

All we need is the machinery, the infrastructure, and the labour.

We don't need their 'jobs', all we need is access to the means to produce. Workers, don't strike. take over your work place, and run it for our needs instead of capitalists greed.

If indeed it had been written by a trader from the casino wall st, it is fully comprehensible for his emotional rant. His job is on the line, and at such times, who would not want to protect it and his lifestyle?

Unfortunately, he had only shown his own self centredness with disregard to others.

OWS had NEVER been against the rank and file of the wall st casino. It is only against the system itself that had robbed the massive middle classes of their earnings, into believing that stocks are an investment against inflation, by the super elites whom with their massive wealth, are able to behind the scenes manipulate the markets as they wish, as they are now doing to recapitalize banks.

Investments come with risk. Somebody have to lose inorder for someone else to win. THere is no win win solution in the casino. THe house - bankers and super rich, takes it all. The ONLY hedge against inflation is ONE's wages, which must keep up with inflation, NOT investments for it comes with risk - you either win or you lose. Most likely and chances are, you lose your precious savings, as the odds are often against you by the house, as many middle classed had found out, sadly.

OWS sought to end this lie by bankers and the elites, but unfortunately, it will as usual fall upon deaf ears. More people will queue up for a free toy in a shop than to stand up for themselves and their own fellow men. The middle classs, whom many are still against OWS, will then have to take responsibilities for their own actions, and not whine when their investments fail and force society to pay for their losses.

As there are gamblers galore, then let the gamblers pay their price, as banks recapitalise their balance sheets. That trader will still have a job, but just make sure he is the best, or he will be flippin burgers next, regardless if OWS happened or not.

Better yet if he would put his intelligence to better use, as proven by being a trader - as a manufacturing or retail entreprenuer or helping other entreprenuers succeed in their biz should he be laid off.

OWS seeks not to leave anyone behind, but only for society to be saved, and thus their courageous stand even till today, under the hot sun and chilling snow, not only for themselves and all, but for the innnocent next generations. The slavery and building castles in the air scams by the bankers and elites must end, and now...

Who cares? It doesn't help people get the resources they need. That wealth created goes into private bank accounts, that help no one but the banks and account holders.
