A picture's worth a thousand words: These sum up the why of OWS nicely.

In an e-mail, she said that she wanted me to see them because they showed an appalling lack of compassion toward the homeowners — invariably poor and down on their luck — that the Baum firm had brought foreclosure proceedings against.

So one of the largest of the "foreclosure mills" had a Halloween party where people dressed up as foreclosed and poor homeowners.

What kind of state of depravity do you have to be at to be openly and blatantly scornful of people who have lost their homes and livelihoods?

You know, it's one thing to lack empathy for the people they helped banks foreclosed on; it's entirely another to be openly derisive and mocking.

This is a perfect example of what these OWS people are protesting: greed and corruption so absolute, a sense of self-entitlement so grandiose, that these people actually think its okay to treat the down-and-out homeowners and former home-owners as though they are swine.

Edit: Apparently, I'm the only one who doesn't have to log in to see this, so I changed the link to another article.

Ok, I deleted what I previously posted. Link is working now and someone posted pics.

It's disgusting that some people are entertained by dressing up in Halloween costumes to mock the victims of their firms.

That's sort of like mocking any other victim like making fun of people who lost their live savings in a ponzi scam or lost big on internet stocks in 2001 or making fun of murder victims. Disgusting.

Pics, and article link www.nytimes.com...

Disgusting, these people did their entire office up like a shanty town. Good thing we live in a day and age where people can be publicly humiliated on social networks for their despicable acts. Wink Wink.

Also the pic with "Crazy Susie" is a reference to a well known home owner rights activist, and is simply over the top.

Wow... How disconnected are these people? That is so sad! It's like they've lost their humanity. I really don't know how they can sleep at night...

Someone should have crashed their cute little party. People nowadays are getting to be less respectable than animals. I'm not sure if we're evolving, or devolving.

Now all we need ot do is PROVE that these are employees that work there, and that is indeed what their office looks like.
