I mean this morning I have heard everything from OWS masterbation to the police being attacked. Total cr*p IMHO. There are obvious plants in the OWS movements and these planted individuals have changed tack and are now trying to destroy the movement from the inside, if anyonr cannot see this thy are both blind and backwards, lol.

Just felt I needed to get my opinion on board before the board is overrun by dis-info agents and the "NWO extremists" views on OWS.

Well the same thing happened to the tea party. I mean even though I did not disagree with everything they said, the origional group actually had some really intelligent talking points. Then they got turned into america hating racists with nothing better to do. It happens, what are you gonna do?

I personally would like to get to the bottom of the mechanisms behind this movement of people who are working overtime in the media and on forums and certain forums owners who are totally trying to sway public opion away from the OWS movement .

Great point acmpnsfal...never looked at it that way....Out hear in Boston the Mayor has pretty much said that they can stay as long as they want but much luck the oil rig disaster people will become numb to this type of protest...more of a reason why these folks should be putting just as much emphasis in the voting booth..and lets blame the colleges for charging these rediculous amounts of money for a degree that today does not guarantee crap when you get out..I was against the idea of al state run colleges but more and more I like the idea because if we do away with these Ivy League institutions perhaps this will level the playing field a bit and people will get the jobs based on the work and not the school that they could afford...all the more reason to ensure these kids get a good education coming out of highschool and are not passed just to move them through...sorry about the off topic rant...

It's gotten to the point where government shills sign up on ordinary interest boards (my example is a wrestling board) to talk # about OWS and spread more propaganda.

You know there are many people in this group who want the police to use tear gas and they are not the anarchist..they are the people who in general just love drama and want to tell the story that they were at a protest when the police fired tear gas at them...this sounds almost backwards to say but I don't think these protests are going to do anything in the long run....what will change is making term limits for all members of congress..maximum terms for all branches of elected offices to exceed no more than two years...as mentioned in another post people will become numb to these protests and soon the masses and the money is going to dry out for local municipalities which means no police coverage and with limited or zero police coverage the small group of anarchists are going to have a field day with these protests and things are really going to turn ugly..some of these young people protesting have no idea how quickly these civil protests can take a turn for the worst and mob mentality will take over..it's simply just a matter of time...but I'm all for being incorrect to strangers and friends...just not to my wife...

I'm starting to lean against the OWS'ers. Why you may ask?

From their own actions, filmed by themselves and posting it on the web.

Actions speak louder than words to me.

Another thing that irritates me is that when the Tea Party had rallies, they had to pay for permits to do so.

The OWS crowd is getting a free ride, furthering a entitlement mentality and as such becoming a gathering of kooks and various miscreants.

Not all are like that, but I am seeing entirely to many of them nowadays, here where I am at and on the web.

If I might add something from the perspective of a resident occupier in one of the larger city camps for awhile..... I don't think this is misinformation coming out at all. The public indecency that is on Drudge sounds about par for the course to OWS camps to me...and let me explain that before I get flamed right into next week.

In the time I spent and volunteered on the Safety committee (security), I can honestly say I saw the best and WORST of people where I was. I believe I forged a couple friendships that will endure over time...but I also saw some animal acts and outright felony criminal activity of the worst kind. Such is the OWS movement and it's current lack of organization and control across it's own people.

Add to that, the welcome mat which has been unrolled to every chronic homeless, criminal and fugitive alike who is willing to do nothing more than be there and add numbers to the head counts, and it doesn't shock me that some cases are showing really extreme things happening.

That doesn't mean OWS is bad, and it shouldn't be taken as a way to view the whole movement. In fact, if the movement were controlled and directed nationally as some suggest, this is the type of thing you WOULD NOT see. The fact that human nature is on display from the best to the worst is the best single argument for this being grass roots and a 'learn as we go' experiment in direct citizen participation for MAJOR change in our nation.

some teapartiers seem more like they are jealous IMO
the "disorganized" nature of the occupy movements keeps TCOTBIP from painting a proper target and so far seem to be hindering infiltration efforts.

tea party can't say the same.

Why is everyone who is anti-OWS a "shill"? Can't they just be Americans with a different opinion of where the problems and solutions lie?
