How do protesters get molotov cocktails in the middle of a city? lol

How do cops murder innocent civilians to sacrifice to Satan in the middle of the City?

(Second Line)

lol....That's a good one!

Why did the protesters conjure up the Satan spawn (via wigi board) to manipulate the cops into sacrificing the innocent civilians to Satan in the first place?

what is the topic is the false report.
I would like proof.

I totally Agree, From what I can see, it looks like someone was hired or threatened to make an admission of violence on behalf of the occupy movement, to justify the police crackdown.

It's not like police have never dome these sorts of things.

From all of the Cameras at the event, there must be HUNDREDS of them, cell phone cameras and whatnot.... and not one single bit of footage to back up the police's claims?

This is a Lie, pure and simple.

It wouldn't surprise me if they threw together a CGI rendered bottle and pasted it into some protest footage.

Exactly. I have a feeling alot of these "violent incidents" are fabricated by the police or government.

After all, it makes it much easier to justify stopping a violent group of inviduals rather than peaceful ones. Meanwhile you have the MSM doing their job to discredit the movement, just like they discredit everything else...

it would be pointless to provide people with sources and links in all the threads that are posted on here,
might as well write "DO YOUR OWN DAM HOMEWORK" after every thread that's posted on here.

You can protest all you like, but dont say this movement is in the MILLIONS,while the rest of America sleeps. When you have a millions of Americans protesting on Wall Street or DC,then I might say you're doing it right. Also OWS has to quit being confrontational. Peaceful protesting speaks volumes. Saw a video of a "squid" holding up a copy of the constitution. Bravo!

this isn't ONLY about america. its kinda hard for this movement to grow in numbers too rapidly when you have the MSM vilifying about the protesters whenever they have a chance.BUT it is metastasizing to many places.
here you go "mr. do your own dam homework".

You must be a part of this group of OWSers who wrote all this stuff…

Nah they only attack women and small men

If you watch fox news, than you are the 1%.

I wish the entire crowd would have rushed that "police officer" and beaten the man to death.

They need to remember that they are humans that can bleed, and that they have family members.

violence is the answer!

Seriously?? I am all for this movement, but speaking about peoples kids??? Low and uncalled for, no matter what you stand for.

We are the 99%! You best make up your mind! You won’t be able to do so once you’re up against the wall!

You wouldn't do # but twiddle your thumbs or get your head stomped on until your consciousness is oozing over the paint.

The police will burn where they stand.

As far as the cops on horseback, fake rubber snakes, horse's really don't like snakes. And rubber snakes arent against the law. About the time you see one of those thugs on horseback take a nasty spill and the horse run wild thru crowd, you want see the horses's anymore. There's also certain smells horse's don't like. I believe this will turn violent if it continues.

The police will not be happy until they are fleeing at the sight of enraged Americans lobbing glass bottles filled with gasoline and a flaming handkerchief at their heads. We'll see how much their souls are worth then.

Screw the police and the traitorous pig civilians that support them

Sometimes you have to punch someone in the face to keep your life in tact.

are you segregating us into either one of these groups?
what if we just don't agree with the movement? (which i do, i go to occupy L.A a few times out the week)
doesn't necessarily mean that they're part of the 1%....fool.

Violence will be necessary eventually but, first there has to be a majority.
Until then there are to many folks on the fence about issues, they may fall the wrong way.
I have a buddy who is for the 1%, he is in the lower 99%.
My best guess is he hopes to be rich someday, and if the rich get taxed more dollars might come out of his pockets.
But that is not the topic, what is is the proof.
We need proof.
What fool, or idiot is willing to tell me the police had no cameras there at all?
Mmmmmhm, screenshots or it didn't happen.

Im just wondering why most ATS members, and the general population as a whole, are ignorant enough to believe that the "Tea Party" and OWS are 2 different seculars. I mean really? Have you not noticed the size of these protests. It stands to reason, that the groups in the streets are not only "Tea Party", but also, republcans, democrats, independants and non-partisan alike. They are a mass of us all. I can guarantee you that you can find about one of every political philosophy in those crowds. They are us. Whether you agree with the movement or not, they are us.

So, stop comparing this to the tea party movement, and how it was so much better.

As far as I concerned, I dont fully agree with the distorted message being spewed by the movement. But, there is one thing we can all hang our hats on with it, thats the fact that this is a show of force if you will. A show of the numbers of pissed off Americans. And they are only representing a small few. I know for a fact that there are WAY more in this country who are pissed and "Fed" up. pun intended.

Whether you feel that they are representing you or not, you dont have the right to judge, I dont see you doing anything to help save this nation.

Most of the distorted message FOR the movement is actually being spread by the mass media.

IT all started as "Occupy Wall Street" to protest the Banks, the Bailouts, and the FED.

The Media wants to twist the movement into insignificance...

The media wants to disrupt, discredit, and destroy the OWS movement, and they will do anything in their power to accomplish this goal.

This includes infiltrating the movement with Masked "Protesters" that are actually agents blending in....

One wonders... how difficult it would be to yank their masks down while they are being recorded?

Because these provocetuers are only wearing masks, because being identified would implicate the Police Departments or what have you.

that is correct my friend, when i tell my mom that im off to occupy l.a she starts telling me that the only reason i go is to smoke pot, be a rebel and to hang out with fools and hippies and what not. it finally got me irritated and explained to her how the MSM vilifies about the movement and what it's about, now i have her off my back.
good thing she agreed on some of the points i made.

well she looked left so she was trying to remember something then she said yea with a shrug and shook her head no. To me it looks suspicious and she wasnt sure of what she saw or if she even saw the bottles being thrown. If she was to look right she would be making it up and looking straight ahead she would be sure of her self. She does seem a sad, angry, hopeless, depressed person. She is probably just a random person pulled from the herd ,no one in particular.

Do you have any evidence that this guy threw any bottles at the police?

Do you have any evidence that he was hit in the head with a rubber bullet? Or was it a tear gas canister? Do you have any evidence that, if it was a rubber bullet or tear gas canister fired by the police, it was done so in a way to intentionally strike the man in the head?

I am not agreeing that the man SHOULD have been struck in the head or it is OK to seriously injure someone like that but it is a serious question. The last I heard, Oakland PD were denying that they even had rubber bullets in their equipment. Also, they were still unsure exactly what struck the man in the head and it was still under investigation.

I have done my homework, and Unfortunately most of theses supporters have NO clue WHY they are protesting !

Peaceful Protesting is acceptable,Im ALL for it,but if you dont know WHY you are protesting,WHY DO IT??

These are my examples and they are very good ones.

Exhibit A:

In this video you have these kids who encourage violence, when given a healthier solution.

Exhibit B:

In this video you have someone saying that wages in North Korea are Better then South Korea, and WANTS socialism!

Exhibit C:

Romes turned violent,I didnt post Oakland's,cause we are on topic already.

And the media will not put Arab Spring AND Occupy Wall Street in the same context. I will. Because its criticism of Government. That I believe, is a good thing. But,Look at Egypt though. Its country is ruled by the military, and about to be changed into some sort of RADICAL Muslim nation. Isnt that what Iranian youth have been fighting for,for years? To get out of this RADICALISM,and live in a free society? These protesters NEED to understand what THEY want. Whats the ENDS that justify the means? Anarchy? Regime Change? Collapse of an entire Financial system? A new political movement? What then?

Maybe not, but the flash-bang used afterwards was clearly aimed at people trying to help him. So I'm inclined to think it may have been intentional, since there was at least one clear act of malice from the OPD.

Flashbangs can be used to disperse large crowds during riot like situations like this.

Flashbangs only deploy a loud bang and temporary blinding effect through the large flash associated with the small explosion. It is not like a regular fragmentation or incindiary grenade deployed by the military. Flashbang grenades are specifically designed to provide no fragmentation and a very little amount of heat and flame when they explode. For the flashbang to injure a person, it would have to literally be directly against their body. The Flashbang deployed in this situation had very little chance of hurting anyone. It was done to disperse the crowd.

You have to look at it from another angle. Technically, the police are required to protect the injured man and get him PROPER medical attention. If they do not, the department, as well as individual officers, open themselves to liability for failing to act.

Now, were the police not acting fast enough the get the man to medical attention? Well, maybe. In a fluid situation like this, it is hard to weigh the injured man's safety with the safety of the officers. But, the man also needs medical attention no matter how he received the injuries.

So, the police cannot rightfully allow the injured man to be surrounded and dragged off by the crowd. Not because their intentions are malevolent, but because if the police allow the man to be carried away and he fails to get the PROPER medical attention and dies, the department will be solely blamed for allowing this action to happen.

Hopefully, this sheds some light on why the police were attempting to break up the crowd that gathered around the injured man.

The force was completely unnecessary IMO.

Your opinion is wrong in this instance

Even going in with batons would have had me arguing about it on the internet, but using tear gas, flash grenades, and rubber bullets against protesters who are not armed with anything more than bottles is cowardly.

Tear gas and flashbangs are an extremely less than lethal and very low force option. Going in with batons would have been an extreme escalation of force. When the crowd starts throwing bottles at the police, methods like tear gas and flashbangs are deployed to try to disperse the crowd without the use of more violent tactics like "going in with batons" or rubber bullets.

Protesters throwing bottles at the police first is COMPLETELY in-excusable and warrants a calculated, weighed response from the police.

From the occupykc rally on the 15th. Nothing was thrown at the cops, and none of the cops tried to kick us out

Look at it this way. The resulting police response at your local demonstration probably resulted from your actions as a group.

You, and those that participated in it with you, probably did it properly and with a common respect for not only your beliefs but for the police and law as well.

It is commendable that you, along with your fellow demonstrators, took the personal responsibility to conduct yourself in a manner that is not only respectable but also conveyed your message.

The demonstrators in the protests that we are commenting on probably did not choose this line of action. Please do not forget this point.
