Yeah I hear that all the time from people that aren't published.

Is saying that alone supposed to be enough information to discredit a person who's work has been published?

I don't think so.

i don't think mr. herschel's got issues with discovering secrets. i just think he's specializing in his own area of interest and not everyone has the same focal point.

I have had a little run-in with Wayne Herschel's antics, including 'sock puppets'
coming on to this site and bearting members. You Tube videos that slur myself
and state that I am a paid -dis info agent.

Mr. Herschel's 'Light Warriors' can be a avid bunch and will not be swayed in
protecting the young South African's points of view.

I agree -Undo, he may want to discover possible-forgotten secrets and may have
a keen interest in Eygptian structures, but the way he attempts to attach it to
dubious claims of alien signals and the like.... leaves a lot to be desired.

i'm not a light warrior of the herschel variety. i just think the guy is a specialist, in much the same was as the op is a specialist. people approach ancient subjects from their own perspective, and if they are into researching the related topics, it often ends in a preferred theoretcial area that may or may not, resemble your own personal views..

well if he's on your "Goofy" list, i'm sure to be right up there with him cause i don't only think aliens are involved, i believe star gates are involved. so reasoning with me on the subject may seem rather pointless. lol

Yeah I believe I already covered that above. When you have had major works published and several major book deals, you will probably have people just like you used to be, saying the same things about your work out of nothing but envy. I only feel I can say this because if you have done the research you certainly weren't that good at it. I have the books, and my research involved comparing the real constellations and angles/distances with the ones in his book and against archaeological diagrams and pictures found online, and all but one starmap completely correlates, and that one might just be because I'm not as smart or as good as Herschel atgetting them to the right scale. I used an a2 thermal inkjet printer, transparencies and a custom lightbox that I made myself to overlay the maps and get the scaling right. I DID come to the same conclusion as Herschel and Lederer.

The knowledge, conclusions and general ideas about our true history as a species on this planet you can draw from this work are astounding. I kid you not.

Yeah, so? You only have to read the books to know how intelligent the guy is and what your saying "still" isn't enough to discredit his, or anyones, work.

Lots of the most intelligent people throughout history didn't have a PhD you know

And isn't self publishing the only way to get out exactly what you want without it being censored or curtailed? Yes.

This is the first time I have run across any of your threads and enjoyed reading the information. If I understand you correctly, your research has led you to the following conclusion:

1. The pyramids replicate a place in the sky (Orion’s belt).
2. The pyramids are a clock that someone went through a lot of trouble to build.
3. The points on the clock are represented by structures (sphinx = starting point).
4. The points represent periods in time past which provide the user references in a time line.
5. The clock represents a countdown and ending point which is a specific year, (2012).

So that leads me to a couple of questions.

1. Do you believe the pyramids where specifically built as a warning and time piece to signal the
next “global catastrophe”?
2. Do you believe other structures (Mayan as an example) were created for the same reason?
3. Are you personally preparing for a catastrophe that may take place and if so, how?

Thanks.

We're not talking 'ancient history' here, we're talking about someone today with no

qualifactions [archeology astronomy etc] Who's been to Egypt twice and then as a

tourist! Having to 'self' publish.

He published his book in 2003 and has spent the last eight years complaining that TPTB

have been blocking distribution of his book [ oh woe is me] and i personally found more

than half a dozen sites where the book could be purchased at discount rates and FREE

postage! [sounds more like poor sales to me]

As such it is highly improbable that they were conceived for the purposes of tombs - but for something else altogether.

Why would you think that?
Surely some ancient leaders believed destiny was related to the stars and it is quite conceivable that they would build their burial spots with the stars in mind..

Because there ZERO evidence of such

yes we are talking ancient history. it's a guy's theory on ancient history/archaeology. i don't even know what he believes precisely, other than i heard a bit about "Ra" is an alien who is returning or something to that effect. i just think the method of publication used is an useless criticism. lots of important stuff is self-published, written on napkins, scribbled on chalkboards, etc.

a gentleman, who shall remain un-named, wrote a book on a theory about the precession of the equinoxes. because of who he was, and who he knew, he was able to get it published by a small but respected publisher. after reading his work, i noticed the artworks contained in his book were closer to my theory than his own.

so i contacted his publisher for permission to use the images, which were all taken from ancient sources. i was told i would have to be a published author, they would have to approve of my topic and pay them a fee for each artwork. later, i found out the images in question are public domain and i could've gotten them for free. so there is an issue when it comes to not only your subject matter, but who ya know and who ya don't know, and how willing they are to rip other people off in order to protect your unique position in the literary world.

Dr Ed Krupp, who argued that the pyramids were laid down in the wrong orientation to the Belt stars. This is a complete nonsense argument from Krupp as can be seen in this short Flash presentation (you simply have to view the Gizamids in 3-dimensions which Dr Krupp failed to do):

Ed Krupp Debunked

I had the impresion Krupp meant misalignment of the belt stars compared to the sky- which makes the misalignment deliberate (as Herschl postulates) compared with the other stars and pyramids..? In that sense Krupp is right, but if he claimed there is no connection to th belt stars, you have debubked him totally. Anyway, is there a possibility to a courtesy copy of your book with autograph?

Hello JackTheTripper,

It has always been known that the Belt layout to pyramid layout is not exact - even Bauval conceded this point in his book, believing that G3 (Menkaure's pyramid) to have been placed slightly off its planned position. It is my contention, however, that it is G2 that is off its planned position and there is some considerable evidence to support this. It might seem like I am splitting hairs here with Bauval but you'll just have to trust me on this, it makes a quite fundamental difference to our respective theories. So Krupp never really concerned himself with this particular aspect, only the non issue of the orientation.

As for a courtesy copy of my forthcoming book. I would dearly love to give everyone here on ATS (including the skeptics) a courtesy copy. Alas, the publisher (Bear & Co) does not give out courtesy copies. Sorry. :-(

Best wishes,

Scott Creighton

How about a nice coupon discount? I am very interested in reading, as I'm sure others are. Say, 50% off for ATS members?

Good work on your theory. However, I've not read every page yet. How is the alignment accounting for precession?
