the occupy movement is really having an effect isn't it?? How many weeks as it being going for now?? I wonder why this is so popular, NOT!!! You
claim to be for the 99% but most of the 99% don't give a crap. As long as they have a job, a home and friends that aren't extreme activists they
will die just as happy as they are now. Good luck with your popular activism. You know why they stay anonymous right?? It's because most of what
they do is actually illegal.

You don't know what your talking about! You probably weren't living during the Vietnam era, but people protested that war for years. And yes, it
did force the war into the political spotlight and eventually it applied political pressure to Nixon's administration to end the war.
If it's not having an effect, why are big banks like Chase and Citigroup announcing they're not following Boa's lead on debit card fees? Why is
Boa back peddling about how customers can avoid these fees? These banks are slowly feeling the outrage by their customers and the pressure put on by
these protestors.
I don't know where you get the ridiculous notion that protests create changes overnight. It's the protests that are constantly making a presence
that create the pressure on the people in power. When the system has to resort to having police antagonizing the protestors, arresting individuals
and pushing the envelope like they did in Oakland, you're pissing someone off in power!
Popular? No, it's not popular since many cities around the U.S. have followed NYC's lead and have organized their own protests. I guess you would
also ignore the popularity of this protest which is continuing to spread around the world. Protests are occurring in Germany, Spain, Australia,
Japan, South Korea, Italy, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Canada, France, UK, Mexico, Switzerland, Iran ....and there's more.
