For me, it would be the Mossberg 500. I have the 20" model with 7+1 capacity. It's reliable, tough, and has yet to FTF or FTE on me. For the price it can't be beat.

My "zombie shredder" is designed to be a hallway sweeper instead! Big Xenon light to identify and disorient my target. Loaded with a light shot first, then a couple of double otts, and then a couple of slugs for that persistent bugger.

I'll go with my trusty 870. I had fun converting it from a field gun to tactical home defense tool. I'm still debating which type of sling to use on it. Single point or conventional double for easier carry down the road.
