There Are Two Ways This Could Go. Smile Mars, You're on Candid Camera

I saw this on a tv show this morning and thought it was interesting


As I thought about it, there were two things that popped into my mind, the first was how neat it was that Mars could have this on the surface and the second was how people could think this was a ploy by Wal-Mart to mark territory on Mars so they would be the first big box store on Mars.

So that leads me to think this, if people could think this is an attempt by Wal-Mart, is it because Wal-Mart did it, or did the Martians at one time come to earth to see Wal-Mart because they were time travelers, and was a beacon for Wal-Mart?

I know that some people don't need much to be persuaded into thinking there are conspiracies by NASA and corporations. So by looking at this image, what is the best conspiracy theory we can make from this?

Of course, it could just be an ATS smiley to let us know they have been reading our threads.

I think it is amazing how we see something and our brain connects it to something in our world that we recognize. On the show I saw today where I first saw the image, the doctor said that our brains do not like random images and our brains have to make something recognizable out of the randomness.

But there are a few people who would think Wal-Mart is somehow involved.

A startling amount of what we "see" is made up by our brain. Only a fraction of it is from the actual eyes. Everything you witness is a cocktail of your senses and imagination. It's pretty spooky when you get into it.
