It appears that evidence is being uncovered that proves Iran's compliance with terrorist networks.

Acting on an U.S. extradition request, Singapore authorities, on Oct. 25, arrested Wong Yuh Lan (Wong), Lim Yong Nam (Nam), Lim Kow Seng (Seng), and Hia Soo Gan Benson (Hia), all citizens of Singapore. The fifth man, Hossein Larijani, is a citizen and resident of Iran who remains at large, said the DoJ.

The Justice Department charged five men, including an Iranian, with smuggling thousands of radio transmitters from the U.S., through Asia, to Iran, where they allegedly went on to be used in IEDs in Iraq.

The DoJ indicted the five men, and four of the companies they worked for, on Oct. 25, charging that they conspired to send the military-grade radio transmitters from a Minnesota company to Iran. At least 16 of the devices, said the agency, were later found in unexploded improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Iraq. Some of the men were also charged in a fraud conspiracy involving exports of military antennas to Singapore and Hong Kong

So we have more evidence leading to Iran so we can justify dropping bombs on the Iranians ?

Interesting because if there were no unexploded US ordinance in which to fabricate "IEDs" they would likely be considerably less powerful and/or even nonexistent.

Maybe if we stopped bombing and thereby providing the explosives, then IED's wouldn't exist at all.

Iran is self sufficient and would be able to produce their own transmitters if they needed them. To imply that they would smuggle them out of the U.S. via Signapore is just ludicrous.

Anyone who believes these type of claims is severely gullible.

So when one Iranian (and maybe his parent company) smuggle electronic equipment from the US to Iran it justifies the bombing of 70 million people? We blame the government to being directly involved in supporting terrorism?

And yet when your OWN GOVERNMENT is caught red handed smuggling WEAPONS south of the border.......
you'd think the Mexican government would then be in the right to justify bombing the US no?

is this the same DOJ that just yesterday was pushing for a bill that allows them to specifically LIE about the existence of documents that may or may not exist if it falls under the umbrella of national security interests

circumventing the freedom of information act

IED components, assault rifles to Mexican drug cartels two totally different things / end sarcasm

If this is true, it's really not that much different from 1988/89 when the US government used France and South Africa to smuggle/sell weapons to Saddam during a military weapons embargo. Except maybe that in the 1988/89 deal US ambassadors, South African government ministers and large corporations were involved. I guess that makes it OK?

It would not surprise me that CIA handlers would probably be involved and they want these five extradited to retire a few loose ends. Usually, when the job is done so are the salesman, engineers and shippers ;-)

"This hearing will examine the capability and intent of the Iranian government to conduct terrorist attacks on American soil. The complaint unsealed in New York on October 11th alleges that senior officials in the Iranian government ordered the assassination of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States in Washington, DC. In my view, this represents the crossing of a 'red line' by the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism against the United States and Israel. We will hear from an expert panel of witnesses with long personal experiences fighting the many facets of Iran's terrorist regime — as soldiers, CIA case officers and terror finance investigators. This week marks the 28th anniversary of Iran's terrorist attack against the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, which killed 241 servicemen. In light of Iran's reckless provocation revealed in recent weeks, we must do everything we can to ensure that nothing like this ever happens in the U.S. Homeland."

“The Iranian Government is a threat to the international community; they are building weapons of mass destruction. The Iranian Government needs to understand there will be consequences for their actions. In the past we have attempted to use economic sanctions. Our message to Iran is simple—continue your attempts at threatening the national security of the United States and have no doubt there will be a punitive response.
