Hi Erowynn, I've had this condition for a long long time, the worst bout lasted for over two solid weeks, I even had an episode whilst I was completely awake, I know I was awake because I was in the shower at the time, and that energy you spoke of was behind the shower curtain.

I was being physically dragged out of my bed into the living room almost every night for two weeks, I was at my wits end and scared $hitless. I hated having to go back to the house let alone the bedroom, I ended up sleeping on the sofa for over a year before eventually moving house.

This was not a friggin dream, it happened,

I am not a religious person, somewhat spiritual but only recently, just a normal guy

I had to find out what was happening to me, my search led me to the world of the paranormal, demons & demonic possessions, inter dimensional beings, OBE's astral projection, the chakras, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and last but not least THE OCCULT.

My nightmare finally came to an end after two weeks of sheer & utter hell.
The bedroom lights were on as were the hallway lights and the living room lights. I had just laid down and as every other night I felt "electric" every pore on my body was literally "buzzing" I then went through the repetitive routine of closing my eye's and just as I realized I was dropping off to sleep I would get a bucket of adrenalin thrown into my chest cavity and I was fully awake again...trembling.

I was burnt out, not just physically but mentally, my eyes began to close, I remember that I could still see the light as a rosey pink color through my eyelids, and I could feel myself beginning to relax, I then felt a hand press against my side and came all the way around my waist, shocked I immediately opened my eyes and the bedroom lights had gone out.

I tried to get out of bed whilst punching with my fist at the light switch on the wall, it didn't work, all the lights were out, I was then violently grabbed by a pair of hands on both ankles, I say violently because it was very powerful grip they had on me, the right hand on my right leg keeping a very firm grip began to move up towards my knee, I was shouting "Jesus Christ" and I found that it did not work for me...no I am not a follower of Jesus, but when I was shouting his name I did so with every FIBER IN MY BODY.

I screamed " %&$? OFF!" ...they immediately took their hands off of me.

My eye's were closed and as much as I tried I could not open them, then I realized that I was laying down on the bed staring at the bedroom wall and all the lights were on. After that I slept like a baby,
I still get it from time to time but now I usually end up going to sleep with a smile on my face, tonight will be interesting it's been a while since I have thought about this.

I hope this has been of some help, make of it what you will, I am 99% absolutely positively certain that I not only suffer from sleep paralysis but my emotions tend to over react to situations that are only in my mind.
