Yep. I could easily make a YouTube video proclaiming to be Anonymous.

How is anyone supposed to get behind that sort of thing? I think if Anon is going to do any good they have to learn to be consistent.

There will never be any consistency because the group is comprised of every ideology imaginable. Pedophiles, moralf@gs (the common name for people that don't enjoy CP, gore, bestiality, or harassing people) cops, criminals, military, anarchists, EVERYONE. You can get behind a specific cause with the Anonymous name attached, but don't get attached to Anonymous.

I agree, pedophiles and child rapists get a slap on the wrist and only do small time. Yet some guy selling a bag of coc aine does 20 years. As if adults knowingly poising themselves with chemicals is much worse then adults that violate and scar a child for life. Not just physical damage but life long torment. However our lawmaking lobbyists don't see it that way? If you think the Vatican is filled with pedophiles just imagine our government officials? I am not a pedo nor have I ever dabbled in it. However, I think a lot of this is fear of what MIGHT happen. For example, that a pedo man might kidnap your child and rape them senseless and then dispose of them on a dark night in the out of town state forest land. Pornographic material that actually involves underage participants IS wrong and IS illegal. But cartoon child porn, on the other hand, while illegal in some places, is NOT the same thing. MANY MANY things in fantasy and in sexual foreplay are NEVER meant to be real. In S&M, for example, they roleplay hurting each other and tying each other up. But none of that is meant to be real, ever. You would never kidnap someone and then tie them up and sexually fondle them and then act surprised when a policeman comes and puts you in jail. Same thing applies to anything else. Just because you might view some cartoon porn, does not mean you desire any of it to be real. And a deep instinctive desire does not translate to harming someone, anyone, anywhere. We have to learn to separate fantasy and internal private desires from what happens outside in reality. Right now, it seems ot me many people cannot separate reality and fantasy. They're, IMHO, insane. They might peddle a solid resume and act normally, but underneath it all, they're crazy.

What do we call people who cannot separate reality and fantasy? That's right. CRAZY. To think that what happens in reality or what happens in fantasy is automatically interchangeable and only one step from slipping through to the other side is to remove the barrier between them and be unable to distinguish one from the other. It's the sign of a undeveloped mind.

Look at hollywood movies. Full of violence and mayhem. Yet, if you ask anyone who has watched these movies, whether they actually want the end of hte world to happen or for violence on the same scale to erupt in the real world, most of them, the sane and those with empathy, will tell you HELL NO. I think it's the people without empathy and the insane ones who we need to fear.

You see, I've enjoyed horror movies and action movies and all sorts of movies. I love to read stories where people go on adventures and bad things happen and people overcome. But do I want that to happen in reality? NO. I do not want to see people get hurt or devastation to come upon us. Simple as that. Fantasy is a vacation from reality, NOT an improvement.

Maybe some people are just too closed off from their imagination and that's the true problem. Their mind is, essentially, in an infantile state. They are incapable of understanding any of this.

What do people do when they don't understand? They replace with their worst fears. So instead of there being a humorous troll, an evil, child-raping monster replaces it.

People like this are unable to control their own imagination. They're its victim.

Let me say this: people who have developed imaginations have pictured in their mind nearly everything out there. No conditions. EVERYTHING. That doesn't make them monsters.

It makes them developed. They know. You don't. You're the danger, not them.

Well i don't think this forum is the right place for such discussions. It was quite personal and I was avenging a family member. IT INVOLVED BALL BATS. I was thinking of doing something that would potentially have put me in prison., i did not need to do that since my family needed me.

So what i mean is our penalties in the justice system punish lesser evils more severely then greater evils. They are contradiction of one another so much that it says the innocent and defenseless are not being protected in the way they should. With more severe penalties comes less crimes committed. All though kiddie fiddlers act on impulse they might think twice if the punishment was castration or execution.

Am I making this clear?

Many Anons left 4chan a few years ago , branched off even had a kind of civil war. 4chan does not represent Anonymous any more then ATS. A meme was forged on 4chan, it grew in to something else after operation chanology. If child porn was as rampant on 4chan as some claim then it would have been shut down a long time ago. From my experience on /b/ if anything of the kind is posted the Admins would 404 it. I have not seen CP on /b/ personally however I am not saying it does not happen. Jail bait is reference to under age girls, not toddlers. That is a case of Hebephilia, however most of the posters are young teenagers themselves on /b/ so that changes the ball game. But there are oldfa% lurkers there that get off on that stuff. A pedophile is someone who goes after pre adolescent children.

Really puts a smile on my face, im glad more and more positive things are coming. I remember looking years back and almost giving up hope, there was no real threat to anything negative out there...

wonders if this positive story of Anonymous' activities will reach press and media? as a great number of people would certainly be grateful and very supportive of these actions.

Like a member posted earlier in this thread places like 4chan get overrun by links to dodgy pics and vids. File search engines like Filestube, General-search which track on their front page trending files of today/weekly/monthly etc are just full of them.
