Tonight 1/25/2012 about 8:30pm, west Wichita, I stepped outside for a jog and saw about 30 bright red lights in the sky to the west. I first thought it was a large firework display in the distance, then considered it may be a group of planes or helicopters, but were too close together. I went back inside to get my girlfriend and we came out a few minutes later. There were only about 15 lights left. She had no idea what to make of these lights. They appeared to slowly be heading south. One at a time, they just disappeared. I noticed several neighbors standing in their driveways and porches, all looking up at the lights. About 15 minutes after I first saw them, there was about 4 lights left. I took a picture with my cell phone then (wish I would have thought of earlier). They are clearly visible in the picture. I recorded two 10pm news shows and there was no mention of these lights. With all the people I saw watching this in my neighborhood, why was this not mentioned????
