I believe that the translucent things you see when you look up at the sky are pieces of astral entities that get left behind when you wake up from sleep. These astral entities are the spiders and tentacled things when one see when waking up or going to sleep. they know when you see them and get out of dodge fast. Since they sit on your face and actually imbed thier tentacles into your eyes and brain they rip these out when you begin to wake up. How do I know this? i have seen what looks like a octopus wrigling around in translucent form when i was relaxed. It was alive and the reason why it did not evaporate becuase it did not realize that i was seeing it. i even saw a huge translucent spider around my friends bed. As soon as I saw it it got under his covers as if it couldn;t dissapear but was trying to get away from me.

Interesting viewpoint.
I was at the Optometrist a few months back and they pinpointed every "floater" I have. They mapped my eyes basically. Several drops of yellow fluid and crazy lighted magnification also allowed me to "see" the capillaries inside of my eyeballs...cool. Oh, and I did not need glasses after-all.

I often think of them as stars playing before the sky darkens and they have to go back to their positions. That doesn't exclude them from also being eye floaters, especially considering they tend to move with the eyes.

And I always thought it was my eyelashes getting into my eye! Well I did. Maybe not. Think I will look more into this phenomenon. No disrespect to you at all.

There is always more than meets the eye! That sounded horrible, but I believe that you believe. I get floaters quite often really. Hate to think it is an evil thing. God bless it is not.

I always thought of floaters and toxins in your blood. The more floaters the more toxic your blood/liver is. I believe this is the same theory chinese medicine teach.

Maybe you should just pay a visit to your friendly neighborhood optometrist. I'm pretty sure he will believe something else -- that they really are indeed FLOATERS.

Or they could be microscopic fibers within the vitreous humor of the eye that are clumping together. If you notice an increase in them, consult a doctor. It could be an indication of retinal tear or detachment.

Or maybe the "spiders" are just trying to blind you.

When I was in college in anatomy class studying the human eye, these were known as "vitreous floaters". They are cells from the lining of the eyeball which are shed loose and float through the eye fluid for a while before settling down and being absorbed by the body. I tend to see them after I have a good hard sneeze or cough.

I'm not saying the OP's floaters are not paranormal in nature, I'm just saying that, as far as I'm concerned, the professor was correct. They sure have the shape of cells when you see them briefly. I considered it a normal cleansing of the eye, which must shed cells like all other parts of the body.

The optometrists are a part of the conspiracy though. So you can't trust anything they say.

Calcium buildup behind your eyes. Documented and scientifically proven. This may be your theory, but, I disagree. I've had floaters since I was a child, and I see them all day every day. Not just when I wake up.

when i was young, just a kid, i would lay on my bed in the dark and close my eyes tightly and i could see and watch fantastic arrays of swirling dots, strange designs and colors, literally thousands of them that looked like floating miniature galaxies all flying and falling around eachother...

Now if i try...i hardly see anything at all...Why?

Yeah, my eye doctor does that too. Very cool.

Eye floaters... it is just debris. Dead skin cells and what not.... clumping together.

If not, I wonder how the OP proposes these entities get inside my eyeballs.

As children grow older, society makes them conform more and more and they lose a lot of special gifts. Like their inner eye sight and seeing ghosts.

I know this sounds weird but my eye floaters remind me of neon sperm actually moving and swimming around in my eyes. And no,this is not meant to be a nasty joke or supposed to be against t&c. I have unusually good vision well above 20/20 and my doctor said the same thing about the floater stuff when I was there the last time. He took my blood pressure because he thought it could be a product of high bp

Eye floaters and orbs have something in common...dust!

Eye floaters - I've noticed them all my life but it's only a few and only noticeable when looking at a uniform background like the blue sky. They also respond very slowly to gravity and I can make out their cellular structure (small strings of cells) if concentrating on them. Had a couple of tests by optometrists whenever I saw any change in them like recently when I got one that was darker and more persistent than normal but there was nothing really abnormal going on in there with that one being just a tiny microscopic spot affecting the lens in one eye that will probably eventually clear up.

They're normal, everyone will notice them sometime and there's nothing paranormal about them as it's just a sign of your body carrying out ongoing self-maintenance and cleaning. Any sudden changes need to be checked out by a specialist ASAP though (cancers, glaucoma retinal detachment and a whole set of other nasty things could be indicated).
