I was a little bit confused with this piece, by reading the title I automatically assumed it was a wizard giving instructions, but as I read it again and again, I’m thinking its a demon or sprit giving advice on possession.
And am I right in thinking the food is a metaphor for knowledge.

Yeah, more like a demon talking to another apprentice demon about how to suck the life from someone over a long period of time while maintaining control. It seemed rather spooky, to go with the theme. Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoyed it. (Thanks for reading the message too. )
