I believe many of these posts are frivolous. Zcheng from the beginning of ATS has been anti-american. (Which is why I cannot see why anyone here takes him seriously) He speaks of American atrocities, but all he has posted was Iraqi attacks on Americans (Ambushes, unprovoked attacks, killing on their part) Not all deaths in Iraq are going to be publicized. Whatever the media recieves as far as casualties is all that will be reported. (common sense) ..........I tell you what. Lets all just sit back and get blown to hell, not go after anyone, and further let them believe that we won't retaliate.Let them attack your backyard and kill your family....... I'm sure many of the people here would change their minds.......especially if it were China. Don't think for a minute that I've been blinded by the whole Afgan/Iraq switch. I see what we were led to believe, but this needed to be. If we sat back Iraq would be the next Afganistan, and other american-hating groups would have followed suit. All they needed was someone brave enough to send an initial attack.

Lets let Halliburton and UNOCAL decide our foriegn policies from now on. War on a noun, woot! Death to the terrorists we armed, supplied, trained, funded and created. I do not hide my Anti US Invasion and Occupation of Iraq sentiment. I am against US foreign policy, not US people.

You think it is Anti-American? What do you think of those demonstrators before Iraq War and those demonstrators in New York weeks ago. Are they Anti-American or Traitors of America?

I know US will be defeated by Iraqi Resistance and Nationalism. We can learn this from history: Japan in China, Korea in WW2, France in Algeria, US in Vietnam, Soviet Union in Afganistan.

1st off we backed the Contras not the Anti Somosa Sandinistas (they were Marxists) How was Vietnam a threat to freedom? Good question. We should have backed Ho Chi Mihn when he came to the US asking for help to get the French out and set up a US style democracy, blame Truman. Korea Russia and Germany? If you ask how these were enimies of of peace and freedom go back to you schools and kick the crap out of of every history teacher you ever had.

Who's freedom? Ours? Theirs? If ours, what is it about Iraq that was such a threat to us? If theirs, who are we to give them our conept freedom? Your concept of freedom is very disturbed if you mean to say that by going in there, to their soverign nation, bombing them into a powerless third world state even after years of cripling economic sanctions, and installing a government friendly to our energy policy. Look at afghanistan, our idea of freedom there was to appoint a fomer consultant to UNOCAL as their president and build the pipeline they legally backed out of. Our idea of freedom for many African and South American Countries was similar, our ideals are not the righteous democratic wonderful morality we seem to believe they are. Our idea of freedom that we so militantly lay out on the rest of the world is a farce. What we mean to say is that our coporate interests and your government must unite in order not to get the crap bombed out of you. How was Vietnam a threat to American freedom? Korea? Russia? Germany? How did supplying the Sandinista Rebels protect american democracy? I could go on on to include any conflict in american history save the revolutionary war, none of them have ever been in the interests of freedom. All fo them have been in the interests of protecting Interests, Not Freedom.

the 'art of war' by sun tzu teaches us that an enemy can only be defeated if the people of the occupied lands WANT to be conquered.
our 'leaders' know this, and yet send ill equipped(ammo and body armour) americans in to do battle with an unbeatable 'enemy'. what does this tell us? that the real goal is not victory, but rather, perpetual warfare, as described by orwell.

How are your brothers and sisters in Iraq? Do you have any worry for them.

I have said before: If I go to Iraq, I will join Iraqi Resistance, not the Coalition. So I better not go there, otherwise your brothers and sisters might be in greater danger.

US aircraft bombed and shelled al-Fallujah Saturday morning according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam. Two US airplanes attacked the city at 4:00am local time, striking the al-‘Askari and ad-Dubbat neighborhoods with cluster bombs and rockets. US tanks took part in the bombardment on the ground as well.

US admits Resistance attacks at rate of 70 per day.

The American Washington Post newspaper wrote that the report by “Kroll Security International for the U.S. Agency for International Development shows that such attacks typically number about 70 each day.” In contrast, 40 to 50 hostile incidents occurred daily during the weeks that preceded the theatrics of “hand over of power” at the end of June when one US puppet “Iraqi authority” was replaced by another puppet authority nominally run by an “Iraqi” in place of former US proconsul L. Paul Bremer.
