Time is perceived as linear to our [limited] human perceptions . God, or the idea of an omnipotent being, could only exist out of linear time if s/he
were able to know all that has happened in the past, present and future. This meshes well with the [Biblical] idea that we will know everything and
have all of our questions answered after death - no longer encumbered by our earthly bodies, our "souls"/essence/energy are free to traverse
time/space at will.
