Not that I'm pro-Gaddhafi.... but the fact that the NTC, which allegedly fought for democracy, executed him as a prisoner.... just makes me want to slap the # out of all the idiots involved.

You know, two wrongs don't make a right. Also, them screaming "Allahu Akbar" is quite ironic...
Anyone know the Jedi-codex? Quite the same: You are NOT allowed to kill prisoners in Islam, which they did QUITE often.

Sooooooo democratic, right....

This war is nothing but orchestrated by the West.

Powerful speech. He is so correct about Capitalism. The biggest dogs eat the rest and corporations run the country. S&F.

I agree also,
shame that there is no such thing as freedom of speech because no one is listening; people are blinded by the vision that the corporations are producing every day; the unfortunate human mind slowly goes through a process off brain washing without anyone realising. We are told to sit down and don’t worry about anything while the banks take our money away and the trade unionist rights are lowered because of corporations not caring about their work force. They say that children are our future with patriotic views implanted into their brains showing how their motherland is the best. The problem is they are hidden from the reality that the government does not want us to know.9/11 and other serious points in history that magically led America and other nations into the Middle East, to find a terrorist leader that supposedly was not there when all the oil ran out.
The truth about Gaddafi is bloody, but yet his political views are correct, but unfortunately the image of freedom from a capitalist government that he was supposedly running got to the head of Libyan people. I do support their revolution but I do consider Gaddafi as a forward thinker, whom let his unfortunate power lead the way.

I think Martin Niemöller said it best:

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

I don't know if Gaddafi was good or bad but its very obvious that they are going after everyone until there is no one left. You are either with them or against them.

Who are "they" that we speak of?

I am absolutely against what happened also. I thought it was disgusting and inhuman. I wouldn't quite go as far as to say that all the people who practice Islam believe it is wrong to kill prisoners though. What about the beheadings that took place some years back??

I really think we need to put all religion aside for a moment and really think about what we as humans would like to see our world become. Surely if it includes Wars and beheadings and inhuman treatments of already dead bodies then count me out because I want no part of that.

Are there some people who deserve to die, of course there is but we should be humanly about it and treat those humans as we would say a rabid animal who needs to be put down to save the others around it. Why should be be dancing in the streets because we had to put this human down who was perhaps sick? Really people think about it.........

So let me get this as right as I can. The USA used NATO to use our Public enemies (Al-quida affiliates) to murder Gadafii because he was bringing together the African countries so that it would increase their standard of living and because Gadaffi refused to participate in the globally approved financial system, which shows wisdom considering the current economic disaster and designed his own so the African people would have too much personal power. Our PTB murdered him and its so obvious that other governments already know. This is tragic on a scale that my mind is having trouble comprehending and the ramifications of this makes the hackles stand up on my neck.

Maybe all the other stuff is true, but one suspect thing calls it all into question.

as u said yourself....just claims.

The man had his soldiers fire randomly into protesting crowds. The US has committed many horrible crimes and it's intentions are far from innocent. However if I had to choose between living in the US and Gaddafi's Libya, I would certainly choose the US. Luckily I'm Canadian, and thank goodness for that!

I'm amazed how people are so convinced they have correct information because it comes foam alternative media. Propaganda comes from all sources, the truth lies somewhere in a grey middle.

He is wrong about the facts of Capitalism and America. We do get free hospital care, free food, and free shelter courtesy of the government in the USA. And capitalism is more kind to the poor than socialism is when you look at the end benefits of the system. Socialism destroys an economy, resulting in nothing for nobody. Capitalism results in everyone being much better off, including the poor. The minority of charity supporters in Hong Kong, the only country that is close to capitalism, is enough to keep the poor afloat. Capitalism in the USA died in 1913, and in the last 100 years fascism has become the most prominent system of American governance.

That some Americans are so deluded they cheered this, and the "change" in Libya, makes me realize just how very cold the American heart has become.
