Libya's new rulers declare country liberated

www.bbc.co.uk
I call on everyone for forgiveness, tolerance and reconciliation. We must get rid of hatred and envy from our souls. This is a necessary matter for the success of the revolution and the success of the future Libya.

Mr Abdul Jalil said the new Libya would take Islamic law as its foundation. Interest for bank loans would be capped, he said, and restrictions on the number of wives Libyan men could take would be lifted.

I started a thread discussing this here but it's been relegated to the WW3 forum for some reason. I don't think it has a thing to do with WW3 but there you go. Giving you a bump because I think it's an important issue.

That is exactly what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan, even Afghanistan was more open to Christianity under their own extremist Islam, now since US occupation and "liberation" all the Christian churches has been destroyed and is illegal to worship anything but Islam. Women are still abuse.

Not a Single Christian Church Left in Afghanistan, Says State Department

In Iraq women used to hold jobs and Saddam was secular, now is Islam law only.

But is ok as long as the puppet governments are good and nice to the US government, screw the women, screw freedoms everything is ok, both nations now cater to sharia law and fundamentalist Islam

Libya will be no better.

So much for liberation.

Nice Staged Cheering Crowds, they look small and i see just a few women, but alot of male fighters, you can tell in those pictures in the news report, that the rebels are pushing people to join into the crowds.

Sad day for Libya, this was expected though.
