Is Russia preparing for WW3?

According to this article Russia has been exporting massive amounts of weapons recently, more than even they expected.

"We set a new record,” Mikhail Dmitriyev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Co-operation (FSVTS) told Kommersant in an interview. “The target level was set at $9.5 billion. We exceeded $10 billion, so our target level has been surpassed. We have another good report for the Russian president."

Another good report for a president that's been in office way past his time? A good report about Russian and Russian allied countries stock piling 10 billion in new weapons?

Meanwhile, the order portfolio of the Russian defense industry increased substantially to $48 billion, he said, while mentioning the main Russian state armament exporter, Rosoboronexport.

After improving arms exportation to other countries, and dedicating more budget to their own military programs, they're not happy with us? Why now? Are they gearing up for war? Are we headed back into a cold war status? Was this all put into motion and expected to happen since 2010?

Isnt Everybody preparing for WW3? or 4?(since we have been in a world war for the last 10 years) Russias a little late to the arms game. The US has been exporting pretty much nothing but arms for many years now.

That's why they began selling to India. Now China and India go to space, arm themselves up to there... a déjà-vu feeling... US-Russia look-a-likes?...

Yes they are.. They smell blood in the water and its ours. They are getting ready for the vacuum that will happen when the US goes threw the same pains they did after there banking collapse in the 90's. They have the ability to sweep into places that we have been dominate since the 50's. This doesn't mean there will be wars.. Look at history they were in Afghanistan right before there financial problems surfaced. Think of how bad it was in Russia during the early 90's; even though we are have different national moral backbone there are many in our ranks that will need to be dealt with to keep our families safe. LEO and such from urban areas will be like Katrina trigger happy. The folks in rural areas will fair better as long as the local LEO's and .GOVs understand the role they play to not abuse there power and facilitate the proper cohesion between local and FED powers.

It makes sense that there exporting more weapons. The way the US gov and NATO have been crusading around the middle east for the last 10 years all now there moving deeper into africa. N. Korea and Iran have been buying in bulk from Russia and China. Russia can see the path America is heading along with the rest of the world. There is a coming depression on the horizon and most know the only way out is a long bloody war. The Iraq and Afgan war's are just the starting point I can see this war with Iran kicking off all the other (axis of evil) countries. Russia is going to arm them self's because it will be a rough ride

At least Russia has the brass to stand up to tyranny...That is kind of hypocritical, but I do agree that there was a rules of engagement breach, among other items, with the killing of Gaddafi. I personally am much more worried about China than Russia, but who knows how WWIII will unfold, if it hasn't already.

At first I figured that they were just exporting more arms, but the fact that they are stockpiling more, if true, does raise a red flag imo. The question is whether or not they are simply preparing for any unknowns, or if they know something we don't.

Even if the US government and military knows that Russia is arming because they intend to fight somewhere, do you think they would tell us at this point? That would be highly-classified intelligence at this point. If the US was going to go to war with a large country like Russia, their usual tactics of media propaganda wouldn't be as effective as it was for the invasions of Middle Eastern countries.

Time will tell, and personally, I do not really know what to expect at this point, apart from the fact that America will most likely be gunning for some more Middle Eastern countries very soon. They will have to secure Libya for the banksters first, but after that who knows? Yemen? Syria? The list is relatively large at this point, and it wouldn't surprise me if their 10 year plan, or whatever it was we were talking about the other day, is in fact real.

Actually, thinking about it some more, IF the US was planning on fighting Russia, which is unlikely imo, the media propaganda may be effective simply because they could conjure up images of the Cold War, and use the same tactics that had Americans building bomb-shelters in their basements...
