Behind Locked Doors

As darkness falls upon the moors
Evil is released from behind locked doors
The darkness hides them from our eyes
Covered in maggots, worms, and flies

Skulking upon the dark misty roads
Looking to find our docile abodes
To ooze upon our innocent lives
To creep into our silent cries

As the evil arrives in our homes
It sends a shiver through our bones
As the fear creeps up your spine
The adrenaline flows and you know it's time

To pull the sword in it's magical glow
To seek out the evil and deliver the blow
To sever it's head and loosen it's bowels
To see it's gore and smell it so foul

Then to vanquish it into the night
To prevail and to fight the good fight
Until the darkness falls again upon the moors
Until once more they are released from behind locked doors.

I got a very creepy feeling when I read this and a kind of romance in a slight twisted way, I think it’s because I think of the Scottish moors, damp with mist, the same feeling I get when reading about the headless horseman. Creepy but romantic lol

S&F from me
