Image Display Changes

I used to upload to image shack and copy the forum code, and now I don't know why there is a space between the "I" and "M" in the [/img] part as in this example.

The image only displays on the post if I put [img] around the forum code, which will display on the post -

" target='_blank' class='tabOff'/>

If I try a smaller pic the first way will work, but I used to post larger pics the first way without there being a space between the "I" and "M" in the [/img] closing. So I'm wondering if there were any changes on posting larger pictures.
