Officials from Libya's National Transitional Council have stated that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was captured near Bani Waldi on Saturday night, alive and uninjured. However Saif also appeared on Syrian TV on Saturday night, saying he would continue fighting.

National Transitional Council have stated that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was captured near Bani Waldi on Saturday night, alive and uninjured. However Saif also appeared on Syrian TV on Saturday night, saying he would continue fighting.

he was caught along with Gaddafi’s spokesman Moussa Ibrahim, previously declared captured on Thursday. Reuters reported that NTC military commander Abdel Hakim Belhadj said Ibrahim was captured in Sirte on Thursday, but latest claims contradict earlier reports.

A report in Dnaindia appears to refute the claims regarding the capture of Saif, as they report that he appeared on the Syrian Alrai TV channel on Saturday night. During his appearance he said

Once again the NTC are caught lying about the supposed capture of not only Saif al-Islam Gaddafi but the spokeman has aswell, since NTC has been known to lie so many times before why should the world or any one else believe the NTC again?

Thoughts on this?

The whole NTC thing is a diversion.

The real deal starts soon when the IMF says they are having problems awarding contracts to rebuild the demolished infrastructure.

Of course, a higher danger zone brings a higher price, and higher loan rate

"Free elections" will solve the problem, don't worry.

The Dem "election" councilor contractors are chomping at the bit.

This Guy will be involved
Afghan presidential candidate Ashraf Ghani hired Carville as a campaign advisor in July 2009. Carville said that the 2009 Afghan presidential election is "probably the most important election held in the world in a long time," and he called his new job "probably the most interesting project I have ever worked in my life."[14] Carville, whose work for Ghani is pro bono, when asked about similarities between politics in Afghanistan and politics in Louisiana, responded:
Yeah, I felt a little bit at home, to be honest with you.[15]
In 2010, Carville worked as senior advisor for the campaign of Colombian presidential candidate Juan Manuel Santos.[16]

He is acting as advisor for Daniel Scioli (Governor of Buenos Aires) re-election campaign.

Make no mistake, the future of Libyan leadership will be intentionally pro-American. This reveals much about the U.S.'s true goals in the middle east.

James f-ing Carville. Wow. I'm not surprised in the least. Next thing you'll hear is Karl Rove is organizing the other faction's elections. More of the lame left/right dichotomy to distract & derail real progress in that country. Welcome to your new future?

well,

TPTB always insist on a thesis/anti-thesis ya know

like they say:

"I is yo knew nabor"

"and arranged the Afghan election"

OR, "re-arranged"

"This reveals much about the U.S.'s true goals in the middle east"

"James f-ing Carville. Wow"
His wife might do better?

I think it falls under the 'you break it, you bought it' concept. Obama and his counterparts in Europe couldn't leave well enough alone for a modern Libya that was apparently leaving everyone alone outside their own borders. So...by stomping in and breaking the place up, we have some obligation to see it's set right before we wave and split with Oil contracts in our back pockets. Just my way of seeing this..... It would have been far easier if we'd just rooted for the rebels from a distance then let them rise or fall on their own ability....As it's supposed to be.
