Did John Bolton Just Admit All These Wars Are For Oil?

Not that this is going to be ground breaking for most of ATS... Still note worthy IMO...

Former U.N Ambassador to the USA - admitting that we have fought "so many wars" trying to protect our economy from the adverse impact of losing the supply, or having to pay high prices for it(oil)...

Might as well admit why we are in Afghanistan hmm?

You forgot to add water -- the only real resource we need and the most threatened.

Maybe they figure if they slowly get this type of info out into the public forum slowly it may lessen the blow of its implications and repercussions with the US population.

I remember reading that Afghanistan also has the largest deposit of iridium on the planet, which was discovered some years before the war was launched.

Apparently this element is widely used in computer parts.

Yeah I too remember reports of tons and tons of copper mines, and other large finds of rare minerals, mostly the metals which make up everybodies cell phones... go figure

Yeah we are there for democracy since when do you need weapons/violence for so called democracy

No ego issues either.

John Bolton has said many times on Fox News interviews that oil and other financial gains is why we invade here and there. I watch a lot of news so I've seen this guy quite a bit. He was even considering running for president of the U.S. but I guess he decided not to run.

Wow, seems so weird hearing the truth like that...
