I know right, it can't be true, but they did give all of 2 1/2 minutes to informing the public that some doctors may have been compromised by big pharma drug reps.

I guess now we can't say, "you never told us doctors give us medications because they are paid to". In case you are one of the millions of people that didn't catch this 3 minute interview, I've presented it here.

For example I have watched a tad bit of the Michael Jackson/Dr. Conrad Murray trial and the prostitution...ooops, prosecution has its star witness on stand last Friday/yesterday. He's testifying to all of his experience on the use of Propofol and how he basically "Wrote the book on it". He stated something to the effect of doing his research along with the FDA's go ahead with a Dr. White, who I believe is the defense's expert witness and the first authority on the proper use of Propofol. Yeah, I bet he did get the okay from the FDA...they're so damed crooked it would make your head spin. People are mad at wall street with good reasons, but if they truly knew the half behind their doctors and the FDA...they would want to strangle them. While there are still good doctors....IMO, the average Dr., just wants a fatter bank account now a days...what better way to get a bigger bank account than to push drugs. It's a crying shame.

Propofol was a fairly new drug back in 1993 when it killed my 87 year old grandmother, who only wanted to get her teeth pulled

The Doctors told her it was safe all though she had a pacemaker...she was dead hours later.

The Federal Death Authority aka "FDA" makes me sick to my stomach. Those OWS'ers need to march over to their offices and protest them as well if you ask me. I could go on and on about the dirty @$$ FDA. They could careless about us...and the FDA works for the pharmaceutical companies...they don't care about any of us. Who really believes them now a days when they tell you "Oh yes, it's completely safe"? Not me!

All the FDA does is blocks out good medicines (see the term medicine vs. drug?) and allows all the crap that will just make us more ill or bring on another symptom which will call for another drug...and they got the greedy doctors right where they want them...in their pockets!

Did you know the FDA changed its name from The Department of Chemistry back in either 1909 or 1919 after they realized all the money they could make by working for Big Pharm? It's true

That is an awful story and I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother! To think she only needed some work done on her teeth. I'm a registered nurse and I use propofol all the time. Unless she had an allergic reaction to it, propofol didn't kill her, the incompetent dentist/doctor taking care of her did, just like MJ's doctor killed him. Unfortunately today, some of these doctors think they can do whatever they want, regardless of the potential consequences. I see it all the time. I cringe when I hear stories about your grandmother. Propofol should never be used on someone who is not mechanically ventilated; it says that right in the package insert. And to think MJ's doctor was using it in his house to put him to sleep!

Only people trained in intensive care should really be using propofol, this includes basic CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, EKG interpretation, Basic & Advanced aiway training, etc. To think they gave your grandmother this in the dental office makes me crazy! They have no business administering this drug. I've been using propofol for over 12 years without any problems, but that's because I use it with caution and respect it.

Again, I know it was awhile ago, but sorry your grandma. She deserved better!

I take it that when something genuinely good happens on a MSM network, it must either be a function of
1) somebody brought up a point which is too obviously news and they can't get around airing it or
2) they have a shred of their souls left, and some of their heart cells are not inky-black j/k
