I hope this isn't too off topic, but why did they say the photos of a dead muslim can't be shown (bin laden) for fear of offense, but we've seen 24/7 of Gaddafi?

We can't control what the NTC does. We can, however, tell OUR troops not to release photos of someone WE killed.

That movie you mentioned was directed by Oliver Stone, and we all know what his political leanings are. He is a buddy of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Where his movie is different than this recent production by Sony Pictures about the Osama Bin Laden raid is that it seems inside information is being given to the filmmakers by the White House. In regards to Oliver Stone's film, he did not have inside access to the White House and was only able to glean information for the movie from the media, government records made public, and people who knew President Bush. Furthermore, when "W," came out Bush was on the downside of his second term so the film could not help or hurt him politically.

However, with this recent movie, it comes out on the heals of an election and an election that involves the President who was Commander-in-Chief at the time of this military operation. That alone should spell out the film's true intent. It is blatantly obvious that this movie is meant to help the President politically instead of merely entertaining the populace. Why would Congress be upset over it if that is not the case? Another thing we have to keep in mind is if the information being so generously given to Sony Pictures is classified or highly sensitive? So the information about OBL is good enough for a movie production company with alleged ties to the President at a time of his election, but not good enough for the American people after it happened? Something smells rotten?

We are a nation of laws i have no love or sympathy for bin laden but when we preach moral superiority over people and other countries think we should walk the talk.

So muslims killing muslims and showing pics is okay.
But
Americans killing muslims and showing pics is bad.

I wonder if we'll get to see the real pics in the movie?

Good luck with that since they only time you know what a terrorist looks like is when the government flashes their picture on the news or read some article on the "internets".

Seen your kind many times there are those who talk tough and their are those who have no need for it because they are.

Having been to a hotzone, I know what terrorist look like. Also, considering my best friend stands on the front line with troops while taking pictures(srsly, these photographers are ballsey), I have it on good word that they do exist.

I've never fought a terrorist, but i do have my self preservation instincts.

Nope. If he were the TV would have told us so. Since the TV seems happy I can't find anything wrong with it.

No, Neo is the one defending the dictator and the terrorist leader.

I like how you called me Baka though. Never been actually called that. Hear it a lot, but never been called it. I laughed.

Star.

Sometime bearded, sometimes not. Olive colored skin. Guns in hands. Screaming various mantras. Actually, they are pretty stereotypical.
