Everything is connected

Finally reached the 500 post mark so I figure I should post something worth thinking about. some people call it love, some people call it intuition, some people call it an anomoly and go about their day, and some call it coinsidense. Some of you know I am interested in electronics, and science, but don't seam to fit nicely into the cold category most would steriotype into that group. all these scientists are too afraid to speak out about the real physics some might say, well i'm not, come hell or high water, or illuminati thugs in black helicopters.

parapsychology has come into the mainstream of science almost unnoticed while phycisists chuckle quietly to themselves and corporations use their medical staff to deem some who speak too clearly legally insane. Quantum consiousness as some call it, or a noospheric field effect, some even dare to call it spirit.

I just want to address one point that you brought up in your thread. Science does not, and based on current information, probably never will, address the paranormal, etc, because nothing is testable. For something to be scientific it must be testable.

It isn't that some scientists don't believe in certain paranormal phenomena, it is just that there is currently not any way to scientifically address the problem. If there were, I am positive that some academics would put their reputation on the line and publish something on the subject.

Look at Jeff Meldrum for instance. He has published academic papers on sasquatch, although cryptozoology is different from the paranormal, but you get my point I'm sure. That is all I wanted to say.

I will say you are absolutely correct. I was experiencing visualizations or "hallucinations" while experimenting with psilocybin mushrooms and had some of the most beneficial experiences of my life.

I saw in my mind's eye a rainbow ocean, endless. I was above it and could see in all directions it was beautiful, as an analogy imagine seeing a skim of oil in a puddle of water where the 7 colors of the rainbow are visible as you change perspective to the puddle. The difference was that the rainbow ocean was emanating light, therefore every color was vibrant and rich. Eventually i noticed i was connected to this rainbow ocean by a string/filament/line/cord whatever you wanna call it, but it was the rainbow liquid that stretched straight up into the air and at the end of it was a sphere, i understood it to be my being/soul/existence.

I looked outside my window to see trees/grass/squirrels and understood they were animated by this rainbow fluid, just as everything living was. I also came to realize that if one were to have the ability to focus on where their own power and energy came from, and KNEW it, any activity with resistence (lifting weights for example) would be extraordinarily easy because this rainbow energy/fluid surpassed anything.... it "was". So long as one's focus was on this animating energy no other feeling or anything could overpower the connection.

On another level i began looking at deep space images on my computer and was flat out mesmerized. I came to realize that as i was looking at these pictures and analyzing them that everything above us in the cosmos creates itself in a specific pattern. As i felt a plethora of different feelings while looking at these pictures i eventually figured out that our thoughts form shapes... these same shapes are what we see in outer space. For instance if one were to be happy and jubilent, a specific shape fits that feeling, and in outerspace a certain shape of a galaxy or explosion somewhere is making that exact same pattern.

This made me realize how significant our connection to the universe is, since then i began meditating. I have had plantar warts since higschool and 2 weeks after 'shroomin' and meditating THEY VANISHED.

May all of you keep your heads up and know that the truth is out there. Fear is an illusion, all is good and happens for a reason. Do not fear change or pain, they are merely catalysts for the positive.

Id also like to add that life exists on a string straight up and straight down. God is outside of this string. life down to the microscopic or up to the macroscopic.

I am fortunate to have pursued a career in science and technology and my source of income is a direct result of the products I have developed which are later sold for profit.

This has more to do as to why paranormal research is under funded and/or non existent...simply that there is little if any money in which to be made.

If one visits any leading university where scientific "research" is being conducted one only needs to look at who IS funding it. It usually leads back to the US Govt and the Defense industry.

Most of the technology around us was researched and developed initially for the defense industry.
Especially in the area of computers and electronics.

Is the world's largest provider of research funding necessarily interested in the paranormal ?

You and I both know the answer to that question....



And to the poster who claimed that it was primarily due to there being nothing "testable" ?

I would recommend to simply look at the clinical definition of Death at any medical institution and/or by medical professionals.

As well as the nature of brain waves which are electrical in nature and hence are quantifiable as to one's hint/clue as to it's relevance to the paranormal.

And in reference to your point about the correlation between light, look how small the visible portion of the energy spectrum is.

It would be inside of that rainbow portion in the middle.

But notice the wide range of frequencies that exist outside of our visible range of light energy.

If our visible range of perception is that narrow, Think of how much out there that is invisible to our eyes that does actually exist.

And that we know little or nothing about yet....

if you go further left on that graph you get mains voltage frequencies =) make of that what you will

ed: try to think about it without having to use your eyes to see it. failing that, start a project in the topic of multispectral camera's =D and see what you find in the other 'non visible' usually frequencies. disclaimer thermal infrared is not entirely legal to use in most places so, check your laws and whatnot.
