I'll keep checking the thread and chime in from time to time but it seems to be a slow night do to all the news junk.

I'll pass it around in the morning.

OP
"Current politics promote slavery under the concept of money for the acquisition of power."
"Old politics (religion) promote slavery under the concept of hope for the acquisition of power."

Actually, the selfish non religious qualities of man - greed, lust, control, hunger for power - control all politics, both today and yesterday. Do you really believe that the Holy Roman Papacy/Empire killed tens of millions of Bible reading Christians in the name of Jesus? Of course not. They did it to wipe out a population of Christians who knew the Truth. Do you really believe that they plundered temples in far away lands in the name of Jesus? Of course not, they did it in the name of greed, wealth and monopoly of control. Organised religions, such as the Papacy in the Dark Ages didnt promote "slavery under the concept of hope" - it demanded domination over every facet of society - commerce, politics, laws and life. People didn't submit to the Papacy because of "hope" - they submitted to not get their heads chopped off or burned at the stake. Actually, those that chose Jesus over the Papacy were martyred. They were the free ones, not slaves.

Today, the same non religious qualities of man - greed, lust, control, hunger for power - drive our politics today. And many people in society have been implanted with those same desires, so they become slaves to the system.

Somewhere along the line you've been brainwashed to believe that a person who believes in God is a slave to hope and that has to be behind your statements. When in actuality, it's man who has been complacent in accepting such qualities in our leaders, whether they are religious or political leaders.

They are the same... Just different concepts of currency.

Since I read this reply I have been thinking so much about it. I suggested Fishticon84 create a thread about it but that has not happened and imo, this is the TRUTH! And the more people that read this the better.

Fishticon84 , 'something' didn't sit right with religion for me but I did not have the words to describe it and as soon as I read this, the penny dropped. So thankyou !!!

Religion has spread throughout the globe. It was/is a global movement that paved the way for a One World Government, a New World Order.

It was/is a strategy and the ancient Political handbook we refer to as The Bible illustrates this.

You are correct in one thing. Religion is slavery. The problem with calling it slavery is that we no longer know how to define true slavery from biblical standards. Slavery in the Bible was not forced unless the slave was working off a debt to society, working off a debt from a loan or simply working to live. Capital punishment in Bible times was carried out by making a person work off their debt to others for wrongs committed. Slavery was not used as a form of bondage against a person's will. Every seven years, there was a jubilee year where the captives were set free and all debts forgiven.

With this explained, why is religion slavery? The Earth is a garden given to those in bondage. We are here as bond-servants for a debt we created. The terrestrial realm is reserved for those who are fallen and the heavenly realm is reserved for those who live under the one law of love. Until love for God and others is found, we are in debt to the results of our sin nature. The material world is a place to work out our hearts. We can either create a heaven here or a hell. All of this reality in the material world represents a journey to find the emerald as payment for our freedom. We work to find this truth. Once found, we are free. The truth is love for God and love for others. This is the single law that must be followed in the kingdom of God. No other laws are applicable or necessary once the emerald is given to the King. The emerald is our faith. The King never needed the emerald. We did. Christ came to show us the way out. In His name (character), we find freedom from the truth of love.

PtahHotep (Joseph - 5th Dynasty)

"Be not arrogant because of that which you know; deal with the ignorant as with the learned; for the barriers of art are not closed, no artist being in possession of the perfection to which he should aspire. But good words are more difficult to find than the emerald, for it is by slaves that that is discovered among the rocks of pegmatite."

Our freedom comes on the 7th day of Jubilee, which comes at the end of 6000 years. Consider these comments from the Epistle of Barnabas. Adam to Noah is 2000 years. Noah to Jesus is 2000. Jesus to today is 2000. The next 1000 years is the reign of Christ when the captives are set free.

Barnabas 15:3
Of the Sabbath He speaketh in the beginning of the creation; And
God made the works of His hands in six days, and He ended on the
seventh day, and rested on it, and He hallowed it.

Barnabas 15:4
Give heed, children, what this meaneth; He ended in six days. He
meaneth this, that in six thousand years the Lord shall bring all
things to an end; for the day with Him signifyeth a thousand years;
and this He himself beareth me witness, saying; Behold, the day of
the Lord shall be as a thousand years. Therefore, children, in six
days, that is in six thousand years, everything shall come to an end.

The end of slavery and our freedom into the kingdom of God. Jesus said, "You must be born again." This is not an option. We have been here for 6 days so far. We will be here one more when faith turns to fact.

1 Corinthians 13

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We are children of God until we are no longer children. Children are under the care of their parents. Call it slavery or politics if you choose. This is not the correct definition.

I like others in here have felt a shocking understanding when i read this thread. I have always felt religion was for a narrow few to dictate to the masses, and how i never realized this gets me but at least know I have a possible answer for a life long question, religion is left over politics makes entirely to much sense. I will think deep on this one thanks for the thread

When I read your reply, I thought of Moses freeing 'his people' from the Pharoah... freeing them from slavery.

That is/was a political movement way back then.

Moses was the leader of the Opposition at that time and went on to become a powerful leader.

Religion in reality came out of the evolution of our species. For some reason it was a biological advantage to have an analogous creationist part in our minds, otherwise we wouldn't have it. The problem is now we are evolving into smarter beings in which we are figuring out the reasons for why things happen, and we no longer need to analagize to explain to other people. Yet people still hold on to their religion and are willing to do anything for the promise of eternal heaven. A quote by Voltaire went something like this A man who is convinced to believe in absurdities(disregarding evolution, geology, biology, anthropology in the name of god) can be manipulated into commiting atrocities. Now everyone that is in power has some sort of religion, that is no president or congressman has ever been an athiest and got anything done. Can you imagine a president that doesn't say "God Bless America" pretty sad. something like 56% of Americans think that Jesus Christ is coming back in their lifetime to save them, now thats just dissapointing. So why worry about (insert big problem here, e.g. global warming, over population etc.) when Jesus is coming to save the believers. This is a big problem.

I believe that we are in an evolutionary danger zone. We have become smart enough to destroy our entire planet, but we still stupid enough to do it. We still fight each other over stupidity and misscommunication, and we can't let go of this religion thing. Why does there need to be a God? Can't we just accept reality for what it is. We need to stop thinking about all this useless dreams, and just live our lives

Well evolution relies on knowledge. Understanding and making sense of our environment. I remember in Knowledge, Ideology and Social Science at Uni: the world view is constantly updating because we gained the knowledge to correct an assumption or a belief that we held previously.

If they/we did not have the knowledge to explain something, it fell into the psuedo-science category or as I refer to it, the god category.

for eg:
Thousands of years ago, people believed that the ship on he horizon vanished into the 'other worlds'... we know now because we have gained the knowledge that the ship does not 'vanish', it is still there but we cannot see it.
