Does anyone know about this claimed cancer cure?, page 1

I have been following tens of cancer cures and there's always the same story:

Some scientist(s) find a potential cure for cancer and it's ignored and/or suppressed. Most of those cures are hoaxes, but the rest sound very promising. The problem is always that we (people who are not doctors) can't really decide whether anything is promising or not. That's why I am hoping someone here who has more experience on the field might be of any help. Here is the last cure I found:

The once-weekly injection of minute amounts of Gc-MAF, just 100 nanograms (billionths of a gram), activates macrophages and allows the immune system to pursue cancer cells with vigor, sufficient to produce total long-term cures in humans.

What a bunch of $@$# if this is true. My Mother is dying a horrible cancer death right now. Billions of dollars in cancer research will never be relinquished.

Yeah....how come these are never peer reviewed articles published in a major journal? They're always hidden away on some tiny website, no proper clinical trials etc.

They argument about big-pharma cover ups is rubbish too. There are plenty of decent cancer charities that would fund medical trials if the results could really be demonstrated and validated!

BS if you ask me.

I take it that you're not too familiar with the work of Dr Stanislaw Burzynski? Antineoplaston Therapy
He developed a revolutionary treatment around 1970 that for decades has been met with attacks, ignorance and downright questionable-tactics by the cancer industry. It's finally gotten the green-light for FDA trials but trials cost lots and lots of $$$.

There are numerous documentaries on this treatment and the unlawful handling of Dr B and his practices as well as the underhanded tactics of the FDA and cancer industry including:

-Ignoring established criteria for trial-patient requirements
-Attempts to steal and re-patent his treatment methods (he currently holds the patents)
-multiple lawsuits which were all won by Dr B
-FDA raids on his offices

many many more

Do some research and learn some facts about alternative therapys

I know about that treatment and I've seen the documentaries and the people who were actually 100% cured thanks to that cure. All I am saying, it's not just Burzynski. There are many cures.

Theres likely a ton of cures for cancer and every other disease thats out there...

The issue is, cures arn't profitable... Why would the drug companies release a cure when they can give you symptom relief for the rest of your life instead?

Its like shooting yourself in the foot... completely pointless from a business stand point...

Remember these companies arn't in the cure business, they sell legal drugs to the public... and only care about their investors and the money they pull in...

ahh

Misunderstanding me thinks. I was replying to the guy after your OP who referenced the invalidity of reported treatments simply because they weren't being pushed by the cancer industry or some major medical journal.
