Gotta love those. Like you I am using a compact and waiting until I can get a DSLR. Although I do have a Mamiya C33 TLR that I could spool up with some old school 120 or 220.

Thanks - I hope to get some better pics on a few weeks when the sun is out, I go round a local nature reserve and once the sun is out there will be much more flowers, butterflies and insects to snap.
You should dig out the old camera give it a try...

Every other year I head to Bozeman, MT and Yellowstone National Park.

While in Bozeman I stay at Howlers Inn which is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast plus Wolf Sanctuary. I have stayed there 3 times and could rave about it forever so if anyone wants to talk let me know.. www.howlersinn.com...

one of the holy grails of wild animal photography..Got very lucky with this but on this day we were able to shoot a grizzly bear as it approached, crossed Yellowstone Bridge and then moved on..

Eastbound train passing the old signals at Riffe's Bottom, West Virginia during Friday's winter storm that dropped almost a half a foot of snow around Summers and Greenbrier Counties.

Here is one of mine...I was playing with beach pebbles.

After I had previously looked at the photo I had taken about a month or so ago. At first, I thought that it was going to be my favorite shot of this winter. Well, it turned out that I would be wrong after taking this shot just last week. An eastbound freight train passes the location of "A" Cabin on CSX Transportation's "Allegheny Subdivision" as it heads for the yard at Clifton Forge, Virginia.
