Heres some of the Peak District, they might not be too sophisticated, but I'm going for Natural beauty than anything:

this is in the Lake District, and I removed the red and green elements of it to leave this:

Hey Enron:

Here is one for you (with your interest in "cheffery"); the singing group VOENA, which my youngest daughter belongs to, recently presented Chef Thomas Keller with a gift in recognition of all that The French Laundry has done to help promote them. Kendall (my youngest) snapped this picture of the presentation.

It is obviously staged but I liked it, so I pass it on to you for your enjoyment.

Tom Keller receiving appreciation gift from VOENA:

Hey Hellmutt: Those photos are great. Did you get a new camera? I really like the one of the cat, but they are all good. Nice to see you posting!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

okaaaayyy...the "edit" button was no longer at the bottom of my post, soooo...

Kendall tells me that in the above picture Tom Keller was actually presenting the "Gift of Music" to the VOENA kids. Whatever. I still like the picture, even if I did get the backstory wrong...

What a great event/photo! Is it just me, or is Chef Keller glowing?!

Tell him hi for me.....haha!

Wow - It's been a while since I've posted here, huh?! Some amazing work between now and then.....I hope to be able to update soon with a post of my own - For now, keep it up everyone! Amazing work!

As some of you guys know, there's a blog on ats now that is featuring some of the work of the great photographers in this thread.

Click the banner above to go to the gallery.

You can also help promote the gallery across the board by putting that image into your signature. It will work as a clickable linked image.

Just hit 'quote', and you can see the way that the code is worked out. Highlight it, ctrl-c it (or apple-c, i think, for mac-people) and then paste it (ctrl-v) into the 'signature' space in the member center.

The member center:

inside the center, select "Account Settings", at the red arrow, then paste the code from the top of this post into the line for signatures)

If the gallery idea works out, we're sure to have many more 'gallery showings' with more photos from more members. So lets promote the heck outta it!

Hey Prove_it - Thanks for posting! Try to keep the width of your images to less than 600 pixels wide so they will conform to the average viewer's screen

What has that crazy Enron been up to lately?

Nice shots Enron! I especially like the first 3, and the last one...

Hey ragster: ...um...WOW...!...

Hey Prove_it: I think I took some shots of those same wind-generators on my way back thru So. Cal this last Summer...I'll see if I can find them...

This thread is a good thing...

You can use Imageshack to host your photos.

You can create a free account to better manage your photos.

After that you can use the code they provide (the ones that say 'Forums') to put an image or a thumbnail here.

My dog got bitten/stung by something this evening and his face is all swollen, so I'm hoping he'll be okay. It seems to be going down a bit now.

Anyway, I'll start with a photo of him from a few days ago.

Had this up a few months ago, thought I would give it some new life.

Interesting angle, Wouldn't you agree?
