Judaism and Christianity and Islam all claim to have Prophecy in their holy books they use this as evidence of their religions but don't all religions and many other holy books have Prophecy ?

Why believe in Christianity over all other religions?

Though there are other religions that have prophecies in them, none are 100% accurate as is the Bible.

Whether or not one religion has more prophecies than the other does not mean its true. The Bible can have more references about prophecies but not all of them have come true. And what is the prophet's defense if a prophecy did not come true? "Oh will eventually happen in the future." It is an easy excuse.

I opened this thread several hours ago, but it took me a while to get around to reading the source document. I have to say that I'm surprised that this has not gotten a single flag, star, or reply. Allow me to rectify that.

Let me just say that I believe everything the author wrote: Christ IS God in the flesh, He WAS crucified, and He DID rise from the dead. Biblical prophesies number in the thousands, and nearly all have come to pass. I'm still waiting on a few having to do with the Blessed Hope of Christ's imminent return, but I believe that my wait will soon be over.

I'm ashamed to say that for most of my life, even though I went to a Christian school from Pre-K to 9th grade and knew the truth, I haven't been a very good Christian; I have struggled with sin my entire life. It wasn't until a few years ago when I began to research Biblical prophecy that the left side of my brain caught up with the right. Statistically, there is no way that a bunch of Bronze Age sheepherders, fishermen, and scribes could have imagined what the world would be like in several thousand years. It is the uncanny, and totally improbable, accuracy of Biblical prophecy that has convinced me of the validity of my faith.

In fact, I authored a thread here on ATS last February on 10 Prophecies Fulfilled By The Rebirth of Israel on that very subject.

Come quickly Lord Jesus, your children are suffering.

Just about every priest knew of the periodic hell Venus would bring about.

These were indeed Prophecy for their time.

ED: The Savior prophecy was in many books of the bible I believe.
Its just that before -600 AD so many cosmic disturbances ruled
as from God the Father and Creator. Somehow the end of Danial's
exile under a new calendar, unchanged up to today, a cosmic peace
has taken place.
