Typical weekend low volume (1 person every couple hours) lines up with the 6hour deal. Holiday weekends if popped on Saturday you ain't getting out until Tuesday.

A vast majority of people never saw a second transport bus.

This is why a vast majority of these cases will be dropped once that comes to light. NYPD dug themselves a hole here and really can't wiggle nor get out of!

That's interesting there are around 16 million union members in this country now on the average they are paying $35 a month of couse that is a low ball estimate with would equal 6.7 billion dollars a year in due collections and didn't i read that all unions support OWS?

Hmmm and a good chunk of that falls into the pockets of Democratic congressman i have yet to ever see a Republican get union money.

Been so long since i was union don't right know what the average due is anymore feel free to correct that amount.

I suppose you could access that information by petitioning using the Freedom of Information Act.

However the money changes hands rapidly and they use non-profits and other non tax paying agencies to do so.

FOIA requests do not cover and are not for what you are seeking. As someone who served as a mediator for FOIA requests this is fact.

If you wish to know the current dues of any union out there simply call the union directly and they will provide you with any info you want.

The Government is far too busy and focused on other items that it will reject your proposal.

Interesting.

This was covered in another thread but it seems a good amount of money that was donated to the Obama campaign were the corrupt wall street bankers in question.

That is however not the group that the OWS is targeting.

Those banks that bankroll politicians are the targets! Hence Wall Street! Your welcome by the way!

Yes, I heard that Obama has the highest amount of donations from Wall Street of all the Presidents.

Those have yet to feel the wrath. Bank Of America, Citibank, Chase Manhattan, Goldman Sachs are all on notice as their day of reckoning is upon us soon.

Hence who our fight is with. The banks and Wall Street! Now do you get it? How else would this next election cycle be bigger then the last 2 combined seeing how Super PAC's and foreign interest can now donate as much as it wants to.

shame on all the law enforcement who have lost sight of what their job is.

First they want to peaceably assemble, then when they get arrested for it, they have the gall to expect a trial presided over by an impartial jury of their peers.
I can see how some of you are outraged, those OWS protesters are downright un-American.

You are reverse barometer!

Everything you seem to post is the opposite of what is good for the people. At least you started punctuating and trying to structure your posts better lately.

Thank you for the post!

I hope they tie up this broken system until they receive the justice the super-elite would in our courts.

You really have to be kidding.

Do you drink the corporate kool-aid by the gallon? Are you paying attention to how the world has worked since banking began?

Do you have any idea what the corporations will pay you once they finish off our only solidarity and ability to negotiate?

What is killing this country is stock brokers, the criminal banking cartel, too much military spending and free trade with slave labor countries.

They should simply be denied bail and thrown into tent prisons to await trial. The city should push that trial date out as far as possible.

We'd see how strong their passion for "change" is when they are lined up to take a plea rather than wait for trial

Either way, it is long past time to take these tools seriously. After two days into this parody it was time to change the channel. It will be interesting how strong their desire for change is when the temp in NYC drops another 30 degrees.

This entire story is the biggest non-story manufactured into a news event in the past 10 years.

About 95% of the 780 arrested at the Brooklyn Bridge have since been released. As long as you aren't violent to a cop and it's your first arrest they will do something called a "Released On Own Recognizance" which means simply that you are detained, inputed, booked, charged, pic'd and printed and are released. Average time takes about 6 hours for low volume.
