Most stars button? Can you explain a bit further?

Do you mean... A button which tells you which post of yours has gotten the most stars? or a button that shows who has the most stars total?

Hm, I have actually wished I could see these things myself. Which post of mine got the most stars and all that.

Most stars on a single post I can deal with, even if I think the "stars" are appropriate or not. What the hell do I know? But stars based on what is almost certainly a well manicured profile? Ahh, no.

it would make stars/flags a popularity contest, well, more than it already is.

who wants more trinkets? this is an internet forum, not christmas.

I'd rather just do away with stars and flags. Who gives a crap? I know I made a post once about wanting to share my flags with another member that had been more instrumental in my threads success than I, but really, who needs em? Too many star farmers here already in my opinion. I'd rather people get rewarded on how often they reply to other posters directly, or are replied to. Reward discussion, not 2 line emotion inducing substance lacking posts.

The whole stars concept is a pathetic attempt to win a popularity contest
and an embarassing attempt to stroke ones own ego for far too many people already.
The last thing we need to do is make it worse.

Why, may I ask, do you give two squirts of piss about how many stars ANYBODY has??
